I am now seriously inquiring Catholicism, Orthodoxy, or High-Church Protestantism after this whole fiasco. Modern evangelicalism is compromised & detached from apostolic faith, swapped for subjective feel-good fluff instead of Scripture-rooted truth & historic Church tradition.

I have made the decision to leave the Church of England. I can't support the doctrinal shifts and the abandonment of scripture. Not an easy decision but my conscience is clear. In reality the Church of England left me.

@Ice_Vulf @dunpokethelion @T0a5tUwU So which one is the real Church? I still believe it as the one Christ made in 33 AD when he gave Peter the Keys as the rock to build his on. Given that it says that in the Bible, the early Apostles called it Catholic, and the Vatican is built on top of Peter, that's where I sit.

To suggest he wasn't real would ignore documents from his letters, witnesses to his execution, and his role with the Apostles.

Catholics Love to believe they were the first church when they were absolutely not. That lie only started to take shape a couple hundred years after the crucifixion when a bunch elite powerful people couldn't have that because they were losing control. Anyone that honestly and truly wanted to know the history and truth would turn to Christ and the Holy Spirit and ask and wait for the answer. But they don't. And if they do, they get impatient or they don't like the answer that they get so they run to a priest or a pastor or a corrupted copy of scripture and believe that's the word of God. But those that honestly repent, and those that honestly want to know the truth for the right reasons will find it. But people don't want to ask because they fear being wrong. And they fear everything that they have known and believed up into that point turning into dust and ashes at their feet.

Ridiculous that Catholics are removed from the line of succession. How do we get away with such anti-Catholic legislation in the age of DEI? We have Mohammedans in Parliament, for goodness sake. We could do with a Catholic monarch right about now. Make England Catholic Again.

@dunpokethelion @Ice_Vulf @T0a5tUwU They persecuted Catholicism until they couldn't anymore. Christ made the Church and it's lasted for almost 2000 years now. The sacrifice we acknowledge are from martyrs that walked the way Jesus did.

And that they've conned Christians into performing blood sacrifice and pagan rituals? Where did you think the Pharisees and others went after the crucifixion?
