This is just seeing self proclaimed "Christian" men AND women who don't really know the gospel nor keep to it as they should. They play "holy roller" Christianity if people don't aligned with their level of sanctification. They act as if it is something that is automatic, when it's really a process, some longer or shorter, but a process nonetheless. It's just like what happens when porn stars who leave the industry and choose to follow Jesus, it's ALWAYS self proclaimed "Christian men and women who take the lead with their faulty, opinionated, and conditional grace mercy and love who take the stage to put them on blast and shame them. Much like how they were when it came to Nala. Same thing. Like clockwork. Jesus doesn't do that to those who come home to Him. Pharisees do and satan loves when Christians become willing participants for him. Jesus doesn't call women whores. Lost people and those who play church who have never been truly changed by the blood of Christ do that.

who quit that lifestyle, as if they never have or never will quit, is why some end up just going back to it. Because of purposeful hypocrites like you, who are so unforgiving. But thanks for clarifying that you should be counted as chaff for the time being.

very fact women are willing to give up that lifestyle out of regret, from either willful ignorance, being played like a fiddle, or having been groomed into that lifestyle and wanting to quit after knowing the truth, should be a good sign they highly regret it all. Treating women-

Aight so according to that, if you have ever committed any sexual sins of your own, you shouldn't be allowed to have the love of your life after truly repenting either. I forgive as God forgives. If my wife had been promiscuous before she met me, it wouldn't have mattered. The-

If you're a virgin man, PLEASE, for your own mental well-being, do NOT marry a girl that has had a promiscuous past. I don't care how hard she larps about it, you don't want to be the cleanup crew.

If a man/woman who's a virgin wants to marry a non-virgin, let them. If they are a virgin who wants to marry another virgin, LET THEM! Do not force anyone to do anything they don't want, and don't shame them for whatever choice. However, in the same light, we need to combat sexual liberation. It has been so destructive to humanity and has destroyed the sanctity of relationships/marriage on both sides to varying degrees. If she has talked about her testimony before and gave him the ok to share this, that's on them.
Trevor Sheatz@TrevorSheatz

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

@GodFastMK2 So Jesus should just tell satan that he can have you? Jesus shouldn't have died on the cross to offer to clean you of your sin? Jesus should have told you to kick rocks? Obviously not.

Dr Strangetweet or How I Learned to Love the RT
On the Rahab post and the subsequent “I was a virgin” post that went viral today: I’m gonna bet that the vast majority of men disparaging the OPs and the wife have had more than one sexual partner or have a problem with porn. It seems that it’s acceptable to men to have been promiscuous but not a woman, that’s it’s okay for a man to not be a virgin but a woman should be. Sexual purity goes both ways, my dudes and dudettes. Men have memories too. It’s not like we never relive the “glory days” in our minds, which can lead to a less than satisfying sexual relationship with our spouse. Yes, Rahab was “damaged goods” in your eyes. But God saw her differently. She repented and is the lineage of Jesus Christ. David was “damaged goods” but God saw her differently; he is in the lineage of Jesus Christ. And to tell you the truth: you are “damaged goods”. But God sees you differently. He sees you restored and in His family, just like Rahab, just like David. And Moses. And Abraham. And Peter. And Paul. You are not better than a woman who was an OF “model”. You’re not. Your sins are a foul stench to God as much as hers. Jesus is kneeling in front of you writing in the sand. “But shouldn’t we judge someone’s repentance by their lifestyle?” Yes, that’s fair. If they continue in promiscuity, then the repentance wasn’t genuine. But judging the person based on the past without giving them a chance to prove themselves makes you no better than a Pharisee. The whole point of “Judge not lest you be judged” is to make sure you understand that if you don’t judge with mercy, you will be judged unmercifully. So if a sinner repents, celebrate. Don’t wait for them to slip back into their old life. Encourage them to walk with the Lord. Otherwise you are a stumbling block to a young Christian and God is not pleased with you.

I am legit going to be sharing my testimony in solidarity, but also because sharing our testimonies is something God calls us to do. To the Pharisees who used a single post to reveal how easily they are sifted like wheat and that they lack biblical understandings/ the call to openly share testimonies that are meant to uplift and encourage men and women in and out of the church, shame on you. I hope you come to truly know the biblical Christ, not your opinionated build-a-bear version of Him that was concocted in your minds.

I think his intentions were pure and I thonk people are getting more upset on the words he used/how it was presented, rather than celebrating the fact that they honored God with their relationship. People are so easily hung up on the how and will criticize anything if it's not perfect to them, yet they never look inward at their own ugliness, that Christ can redeem if we just get out of our own way to let Him do so. I think many are too focused on the wrong thing and that's what's so disheartening.

Yet, no one wants to marry and man or women who are vile in heart, and hold the same amount of hate towards people, which equates to the hate that the devil has towards God. God loves those who choose to leave their sin and follow Him. He celebrates those who comes back to Him and live a live of redemption and freedom. Why is the concept of forgiveness and redemption so hard for you to recieve? Is it because you too feel as if you could never attain it or is it that you hate yourself? Jesus can fix that.
