Shocked and mentally stressed because of the horrible experience with @AkasaAir at Abu Dhabi Airport. No proper support, no responsibility, no clear answers. My luggage issue was ignored, my return ticket problem is still unresolved, and nobody from the staff is helping me. A passenger is left stranded at an international airport while the airline acts like it simply doesn’t care. The worst part is my 13-year-old son is suffering because of this situation and still there is no humanity or urgency from the airline staff. This is not customer service — this is complete negligence and harassment of passengers who trusted your airline with their travel and safety. Tagging @AkasaAir, CEO Vinay Dube, @DGCAIndia and @MoCA_GoI for immediate attention and action. Passengers deserve respect, support, and accountability. My colleague and I asked questions tonight both on why we should trust India given the human violations rights, and also about the visit. I tried multiple times to get them to be specific on human rights, but I was unsuccessful. The representatives talked about India’s effort during Covid & also yoga, among other things. My colleague has the videos so I will try to publish tomorrow.

I’m back from a fantastic 6 day trip to India. On this trip I probably heard 40+ pitches from entrepreneurs. About 80% were business model innovations. The remaining 20% were AI-based. A great many were variations of health protein bars — purity of ingredients, percentage of protein, shape of product, calorie count specificity etc. I was disappointed that I didn’t hear many truly “out of the box” ideas. I was also surprised by the language many founders used during pitches: “Basically this is…” “It is very simple…” These aren’t phrases seasoned venture capitalists like to hear. Great founders simplify complexity without sounding simplistic.

Yesterday around 10am, while driving towards Karve Road, I saw a car shamelessly parked beyond the parked 2 wheelers outside the tapris near Kamala Nehru Park, choking an already congested road. The driver was comfortably eating at the stall. When I asked him to move the car, he marched angrily towards me as if I had committed the offence by questioning him. I had to lock my car doors & wait till he reluctantly moved. There was traffic piled up from both sides, but inconvenience to an entire road means nothing anymore. Pune Traffic Police your complete absence from the roads has made lawlessness feel normal & emboldened entitled thugs to behave like they own the city.
