भारत का आदमी एंटरटेनमेंट चाहता है ! उसे डेवलपमेंट से मतलब नहीं है ! चाहे वह बाहरी डेवलपमेंट हो या भीतरी ! उसकी इंद्रियां रस चाहती हैं - उत्तेजक, रोमांचक रस ! विशेषकर मानसिक रस ! जैसे कुत्ता दिनभर बैठा हड्डी चबाता है, वैसे ही भारत का आदमी घंटों बैठा एंटरटेनमेंट चबाता है !! वह न्यूज़ चबाता है, टेलीविज़न सीरियल चबाता है ! वेब सीरीज चबाता है ! रील्स चबाता है. वर्चुअल गेम्स और पोर्न चबाता है ! कुछ नहीं है तो वह गुटखा, पान, सुपारी चबाता है ! स्वाभाविक है, जो चबाता है वह थूकता भी है ! तो जिस तरह वह जगह-जगह गुटखा और पान थूकता है, उसी तरह वह हर जगह अपने चबाए विचार भी थूकता है !! धर्म चबा लिया.. तो धर्म थूकता है ! ज्ञान चबा लिया..तो ज्ञान थूकता है ! विचारधारा चबा ली.. तो विचारधारा थूकता है ! ख्याल रहे, थूकी वही चीज जाती है जो गुटकी नहीं जाती !!! हम भोजन नहीं थूकते क्योंकि भोजन गुटक लिया जाता है ! भोजन पचा लिया जाता है ! पचा लेने से पोषण मिलता है, जो अंग लगता है! हम लोग धर्म नहीं गुटकते, ज्ञान नहीं गुटकते !! अगर गुटकते, तो वह पचता ! पचता तो अंग लगता, यानी चेतना को लगता ! किंतु चेतना का कोई पोषण तो कहीं दिखता नहीं ! वरना इतनी हिंसा, इतनी मारकाट, इतना वैमनस्य नही दिखता ! और दिमाग़ों में इतना जहर नहीं दिखता !! हम धर्म को सिर्फ चबाते हैं, गुटकते नही ! ज्ञान को सिर्फ चबाते हैं, फिर थूक देते हैं, गुटकते नहीं! इसीलिए हमारी चेतना को कोई पोषण नहीं मिलता ! हमें सिर्फ स्वाद से मतलब है, पोषण से नहीं ! हमें 'मज़ा' से मतलब है, 'ग़िज़ा' से नही !! हमारी इस आदत को सभी "उच्च धूर्त" भली तरह जानते हैं ! फिर वह धर्मगुरु हो, कि नेता हो, कि न्यूज़ चैनल ! इसीलिए न्यूज़ चैनल, न्यूज़ नहीं दिखाते, वह एंटरटेनमेंट दिखाते हैं ! भारत में वही आदमी सफल है जो भारतीयों की इस चबाने की आदत को जानता हो ! यहां वही नेता सफल है जो उसे चबाने के लिए एंटरटेनमेंट दे ! वही धर्मगुरु सफल है जिसके आश्रम में ""एंटरटेनमेंट"" मौजूद हो ! ..वही फिल्म सफल है जिसमें एंटरटेनमेंट हो ! यहां तक कि एक्स में भी, वही पोस्ट सफल है जिसमें एंटरटेनमेंट हो !😀 🙂

काशी पहले लोग पैदल जाते थे। आज वायुयान और वंदे भारत से जाते हैं। जो हवाई अड्डे पर उतरते हैं, उनका मानना है कि हवाई अड्डा बनने तक आधुनिकीकरण स्वीकार्य है, इसके आगे कुछ नया बनेगा या रेलवे स्टेशन भी बेहतर होगा तो नगर के पौराणिक चरित्र का हनन हो जाएगा, जो वंदे भारत से आते हैं, उनके अनुसार स्टेशन तक सुविधाएँ विश्व स्तरीय हो जाएँ परंतु बस स्टॉप के आस पास कोई विस्तार, अवैध निर्माण का भंजन शहर के मूल चरित्र को प्रभावित कर देगा। जो पाँच सितारा में ठहरते हैं, उन्हें पाँच सितारा के निर्माण तक विकास स्वीकार्य है, जिनकी सामर्थ्य में तीन सितारा है, उन्हें तीन सितारा तक विकास शास्त्रोचित लगता है, धर्मशाला विश्व स्तरीय हॉस्टलों के स्तर की हो जाये तो तीर्थ टूरिज्म हो जाएगा। यह कौन तय करेगा कि किस स्तर तक पहुँचने की कठिनाई, रहने खाने की असुविधा तीर्थ को शास्त्रों के अनुरूप स्वीकार्य होगी। कई ऐसे मंदिर होंगे जिन पर लिखा हुआ है कि यह एक ऐसी गुफा थी जिसमे साहसी लोग ही घुसते थे और अहिल्या बाई ने वहाँ मंदिर बनवाया। कितने ही घाट राजाओं के बनवाये हुए काशी में हैं और अब वाराणसी का प्रतिनिधि चित्र हैं। महाराजा रणजीत सिंह में जब स्वर्ण कलश ज्ञानवापी पर बैठाया होगा तो क्या उसका चरित्र दूषित हुआ या कच्चे घाटों पर कब सीढ़ियाँ बनी तो काशी का स्तर गिर गया? या उनका सौभाग्य था कि यह सब परिवर्तन सोशल मीडिया के आने के पहले हुए, और जिसे जो तीर्थयात्रियों की यात्रा को सुगम बनाने का साधन सूझा, धर्म की प्रतिष्ठा बढ़ाने का साधन सूझा, उसने बनाया। मक्का में पैगंबर साहब के जीवन से जुड़े भवन ध्वस्त हुए, वेटिकन में एक सुनियोजित नगर व्यवस्था के लिए नई व्यवस्था बनायी गई। धर्म की निरंतरता के लिए राजा तालाब और बावड़ी बनवाते रहे हैं। तीर्थयात्रियों के आगमन को सुगम बनाने के लिए राजशाही में भी शासन प्रयासरत रहा है। विशाल हज हाउस बनते रहे हैं, अरब देशों से आने वाले धन से विराट मस्जिदें बनती रही हैं। यह धर्म की शक्ति का प्रतिबिंब बन के युवाओं को अपने धर्म में गौरव की अनुभूति करा के उन्हें अपनी ओर खींचता रहा है। सात सौ वर्ष एक हिंदुओं से घृणा करने वाले शासन और सत्तर साल के हिन्दू लज्जा और अपराधबोध पर आधारित व्यवस्था ने हिंदू तीर्थों को बढ़ती जनसंख्या के साथ आगे नहीं बढ़ने दिया और अधिकांश तीर्थ दुर्गम क्षेत्रों, संकरी गलियों और गन्दगी का पर्याय हो गए। हिंदू बच्चे गोवा में चर्च के विस्तृत प्रांगणों में रील बनाते रहे और माँ बाप के साथ काशी विश्वनाथ की संकरी गलियों में पंडों की कृपा से दर्शन करने से बचते रहे। इनकी अगली पीढ़ी छुट्टियों में कहाँ जाएगी सोचिएगा ज़रूर।

So it’s finally happening! A PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the Ethanol Blending Program in petrol. The petition argues that selling only E20 petrol, without the option of ethanol-free fuel, violates the fundamental rights of millions of vehicle owners whose vehicles are not compatible with E20, as such a fuel reduces fuel efficiency and corrodes vehicle components. Frankly, this is an issue the Court should have taken up suo motu. Still, I hope the PIL is admitted and the debate begins.
