Jeremy Fears Jr. will most likely be the best returning player in college basketball if he runs it back at MSU next season. Despite being just 6’1”, Fears is one of the highest-IQ, grittiest, winningest players you’ll see. Unsurprisingly, The Floor General continues to generate NBA buzz at the Draft Combine with elite performance. JFJ is without a doubt an NBA player, but I’m hoping we get to witness at least one more year in the green and white 💚🤍

Duke's had more talent than anyone over the last decade, and hasn't played in a nationally championship in what 11 years. But yea, winning it all is so easy

@ACumbow @wolverinefan313 @jeremy_fears Izzo not utilizing the transfer portal, under performing with top talent, not changing the way he coaches, his staff(until a few years ago) has been his biggest downfall and being in that ‘good’ category. Got 1 26 years ago we act like it was 2020.

The way "he coaches" just dominated the bigten, winning by 3 games just 2 seasons ago. He's dominated the bigten for 3 decades and he's been to 8 final fours. He just keeps winning, what are we doing here

@SethDavisHoops @hhqsports It is unsustainable. Until true guidelines are set and a CBA is put in place. Until then it will continue to operate very close to the Wild West. Look no further at St. John's recent addition

@StockTalks21 Man you really have to do more HW. They bring Kur Teng back (almost 40% in Big10 play), Kaleb Glenn can shoot, Jordan Scott shot over 43% from 3pt land in Big10 play. Jesse M showed promise in limited action. Medlock/Jervis bring shooting, and Fears made good progress last year.

A sneaky blow here for MSU. A team that has been lacking shooters the past few years now likely to lose one of their only outside threats. They definitely need some activity in the portal here soon.

@bigku82 @H57S60206 @Graham_Couch lol. MSU shot over 36% from 3pt land. 4th in the BIG/ Top 50th nationally. The whole can't shoot isn't factual at all. Not to mention they were a top 25 offense in kenpom. MSU did lose some guys, but they also get to bring in a lot of talent and bring back a lot of firepower

@H57S60206 @Graham_Couch If fears Carr and ward start or are counted on for major contributions. That’s 2 guys who can’t create their own offense and one that can’t shoot. You might have a more athletic front court but you lost your glue guys. Built to score 65 a game

@RandyR97170706 @971theticketxyt Ward was fine this year and helped at plenty of times even with the wrist injury. Center and power forward minutes weren't the problem that held this team back. It was the shooting guard spot and Fears not having a true back up pg after divine went down. Fears was gassed vs UConn

@Choops15805778 @971theticketxyt They needed another quality center. Cooper/Kohler at the 4/5 cannot play all 40 minutes. Ward was not ready as a Freshman. I am not saying Cooper was the problem.

@RandyR97170706 @971theticketxyt They had Carson Cooper lol, they weren't getting a center, nor did they need one. There's a reason only 4 coaches have been to more final fours then Izzo, it's not that easy. Not to mention, he's been right there the last few years. Wild takes lol

@971theticketxyt Sadly, this is a fair question. A strong center from the portal the last two years and MSU probably has one or two FFs. Also, why doesn’t Izzo have grad assistants aggressively helping to decide a challenge? Does he think that is somehow beneath him?

@971theticketxyt Is this a real question?? MSU won the big by 3 games last year, made an elite eight and has been to the sweet 16 3 out of the last 4 years. Of we all want to get to a final four and win a championship. I think people continue to fail to realize how hard that actually is. See Duke
