That’s a wrap on our 2025 CCW Conference! In the beautiful hills and valleys of Harrisonburg, VA, we found joy in our collective journey for clean water. THANK YOU to everyone who attended. Meet us again same time next year in Lancaster, PA? 😉💧

It’s not every day I get to celebrate some real bipartisan legislative wins – and nerd out about blue catfish, Chesapeake Bay office funding, and protecting our Maryland watersheds with people as equally passionate about  preserving our Chesapeake Bay! Thank you to the @ChooseCleanH2O Coalition for inviting Team Maryland and our Chesapeake Bay delegation colleagues to celebrate Bay Day, share our wins in a tough Congress, and chart the work ahead to conserve the Bay and our other crucial waterways. I’m so grateful to have such incredible partners to help advance legislation like the MAWS Act, critical provisions in the NDAA, and our new Maryland Whole Watershed Program Federal Partnership Act!

Honored to be recognized by the Choose Clean Water Coalition for my work to protect the Chesapeake Bay - the beating heart of Maryland. I thank the Coalition for their advocacy and partnership, and I'll continue fighting for our beloved waterways throughout my final year in Congress.

We had a wonderful Maryland member in-person meeting yesterday at the lovely Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center! 🐢 Thanks to everyone who came out to discuss MD water quality updates, Bay Agreement revisions, & conservation of our watershed. Great work, until next time!

Yesterday, University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science released their annual Chesapeake Bay and Watershed Report Card. This year, the Bay received a “C”, slight decrease from last year. We must continue to invest in clean water across the Watershed. #bayawarenessweek
