@ChordTea

Every night, I looked in the mirror, sternly, and I saw a confluence of patterns, cultures that left me disconsolate Then there was light, morning, another day.

I've gone behind and came back a zillion times that now, when I'm in a deep, I know that I'm coming back up. It's a rollercoaster of a life, this one.

Good morning, my people. We start today's class with a touch of vawulence by applying our FAFO's law. For those who are new, FAFO's law states that if you fvck around, you will find out. Wild animals are not play-toys. Observe them but don't pick them up and try to put them in your mouth. You'll get bitten! Mark register and connect. Thank you

@Bd_irB_ll @pedriiitis This game was one of the best in uefa history, insane rollercoaster, we went behind under 3 minutes then go 4-1 up at 52nd minute, just to bottle it and tied 4-4 in regular time, extra time then came another messi free kick the GK got sloppy and Pedro punished him to make it 5-4

Dear LayoHomes
Dear LayoHomes@layoproperty·
I met a Python Farmer and he told me this business is one of the most lucrative business right now It might sound strange, but python farming is quietly becoming a very lucrative business in Nigeria. A female python can lay 10–30 eggs at once and with proper care, many of them survive and grow. That means more money You might ask Why do people buy pythons? - Their oil (popularly called “abuba eke”) is in high demand - Their meat is considered rich and nutritious - Film makers and actors hire python for their movie -They are also used for traditional and cultural purposes How much can a python farmer earn? An average python farmer in Nigeria can make anywhere from ₦500,000 to over ₦2 million yearly, depending on: Number of snakes raised Size and species Market demand and connections Big farmers who scale properly earn even more. This business has Low competition, high demand… but not for the faint-hearted. Would you ever consider python farming?

What bothers me, what shocks me to my marrow, is how people, how women, leave partners they love for money. Just money. Not depth. Not someone who can sweep you off your feet. Not someone who can reach into your mind and rearrange it in ways it had never been rearranged before. Just the cold, glittering allure of money. It’s mind-boggling. What happens when that money runs out? What happens when it dwindles? What happens the day you wake up and crave something money was never built to give? I’ll wager that anyone who abandons a partner they truly love for a fatter wallet carries that betrayal quietly inside them, and will never fully connect in the way they had with the partner they left with the person they ran to. You cannot buy your way out of that kind of emptiness. How do you even live with yourself after doing that? I understand what money offers. The comfort. The security. The way it smooths the sharp edges of life. But beyond all of that, beyond every problem it solves and every door it opens, there will always be that hollow place it simply cannot reach. That gaping, aching emptiness that no amount of money has ever, in the history of the world, managed to fill.

I spent a lot of time when I was in Seminary with my grandparents in the village, and one of the many things they did was raising dozens of chicken and ducks. At any one time, you'd find no less than 30 chicken and about two dozen ducks, sometimes more of each. Say each of them (hens - both of female chicken and ducks are called hens) laid 8 eggs each, after each weaning season, the chicken would still have around 5-7 chicks who'd survive the elements (and prey, like hawks, etc) to eating size, while the ducks would only have 2-3, maybe (but rare) 4 ducklings who survived. Chicken would fight hawks, humans, other chicken, goats, sheep, anything that as much as threatened it's brood, and if they went out and one got missing or got stopped somewhere, it'd wait and figure out a way to rescue it. Ducks would rarely fight predators, and yes, it'd wait for it's stragglers to catch up if they got blocked or delayed by whatever, but it'd give up too soon and too often, probably so it' wouldn't lose the rest too. It always fascinated me back then because I'd wonder why the ducks wouldn't do more to lead, shield and protect it's brood. Another thing was the chicks were more amenable to follow the lead of the mother hen, but duckling had a mind of their own from very early. So yes, the hen is the better leader.

Look back and you’ll realize most your teachers were just sad, bitter, broken pedos who had failed at life and had to teach as a last resort for survival. Most of the “discipline” was just them taking out their frustrations on children. Bastards…

Very terrible style of football. This kind of play makes sense if you’re defending a blitzkrieg, if you and your comrades have dug into bunkers, waiting for the Allied Forces to charge. But this is football, not the Second World War. Tactics like these do nothing but drag the game back to the Stone Age.

I was 16 years old when this photo was taken. This was the first time I would “go out” with a male. It was a secondary school class mate My mum was aware Not only was she aware but we picked out my dress and did my hair together I told her that a boy wanted to take me out and she said “sure, go and sit and gist” This is how I was raised And I personally believe that this was the main reason why I grew up chaste and did not make dumb mistakes as a growing young woman Because my mum was my friend. She knew when to be a mother and when to be a big sis. When to be my bestie Every man that spoke to me , my mum knew I did not have have hide I did not have to pretend She told me I would like boys and that it was totally fine. But that it was like a plant I could nurse till it grows into something sinful, or I could quash it She told me about sex She told me outside marriage it wasn’t worth it and would just leave heartbroken and waste my time She told me EVERYTHING. You could not tell me anything new. We gisted about boys. She shared her own experiences growing up with me She trusted me enough to send me out to meet a boy and not do anything foolish and come back home. We grew up conservative but my mum made sure I made decisions by myself and understood the “why” behind the rules. She taught me about consequence She taught me about how that Gods way is always best You could not deceive me You could not lie to me and tell me rubbish Mumsy was always ten steps ahead The woman that I am today, I owe to my mother. I hope more mothers, especially Christian mothers understand how to tow this delicate line May God help us.

This gave me so much mixed feelings. The video is gruesome. He was pleading with the officers to spare his life and he will take them to the friend who sent him to deliver the package. The fear in his voice as he pleaded. His brother was also killed by the Nigerian police force in 2022. Why would you kill a suspect who wasn’t posing any threat? Why not arrest and conduct investigation and let Justice take its due course? What kind of gruesome murder is this in broad day light? Two brothers from the same family gone. This is what the Nigerian police happily say whenever they are on duty. “I will kill you and nothing will happen”. For them to have done this in public and broad daylight do you know the number of innocent people they must have killed? The Nigerian police is a big shame.

Look at the gulf between the attacking brilliance Bayern and PSG served up yesterday, then look at the monstrosity Arsenal and Atletico Madrid put on this evening. The contrast is genuinely embarrassing. Football has long moved past the age of uncreative play, of safe, risk-averse players who wouldn’t dare attempt the unthinkable. This is exactly why flair and creativity must be protected in this game. What a pity I had to waste perfectly good, non-renewable time watching that.
