If/when this deal goes through, maybe ITV could repeat some Sky programmes. What if they're able to repeat SNL UK? More people getting to see it. You never know!

@ChorleyRobbie Why can't they just play a song over the compilation of film and tv and photos of those who have died? They used to just play that so we could see the thing the live audience were seeing. What's this nonsense?

The "In Memoriam" segment should be about celebrating lost talents, not the singer of a hot show. I had to mute this, the voice was too distracting on the odd occasion they bothered to show images of those who died.

@ChillinJalfrezi @mikeryan It's not shock value, but sometimes a swear can help the rhythm of a line, or add to the 'liveness' of the show. But regardless, they are writing swears and performing swears, but not being allowed to broadcast the swears. And that's weird.

I think they didn't want to be treated as a gimmicky show after the first week.
Or the US bosses might have refined them in a bit.

I don't understand a) why @skytv haven't put the #DoctorWho #SNLUK #SaturdayNightLive sketch on their socials or YouTube despite being the obvious one to go viral, and then b) have sent copyright notices to those who have shared it. Really odd marketing strategy.
