@UcheMaryOkoli @Daedalus_Sy Peter disowned Jesus three times despite declaring he would never do that & would die for him. That's pretty bad, but was still forgiven

@dom_lucre She boiled the broccoli, cauliflower, beans & cabbage the same time as the carrots. By the time the carrots are soft, her soup is gonna stink & said veg will be mushy.
Broccoli & cauliflower should be stir-fried or blanched quickly, NEVER boiled.

@RetroMoviesDB X Files the movie
Trainspotting

@vegansince96 @luluHru You're the idiot who'd mix 100g of algae powder in your shake - that's a whole lot of algae to gulp down! 🤣
Any sane person simply eat 126g of beef ☺️

@vegansince96 @luluHru I mentioned "protein foods" but you chose to ignore that just to argue. You need a nice steak to sort out your blurred vision & fuzzy logic.

@vegansince96 @luluHru It's heaven for me, steak is one of the most nutritionally dense protein foods around
English

@luluHru Do you eat meat? Where’s that special place?

@gul1678667 @xmuse_ Which part of "plant milk" do you not understand?
English

@CorvidDevoid Well, think how ubiquitous these ingredients are in many local “traditional” dishes & kuehs

Funny thing is this is what modern day Singapore is
We take almost every culture of the world (not you, Africa and South America) and put them in our country
You can find Japanese stuff, Korean stuff, Indian stuff, Arab stuff, China stuff, Mexican stuff, British stuff, German stuff, French stuff, Thai stuff, Vietnam stuff, Filipino stuff, and your mom's stuff everywhere.
And then we forget about our own sometimes.

@learning_yohei Singaporean here. We use British English, but are exposed to American English through the media, etc. We've somehow managed to use both.
Biscuits: Digestives, Marie (flat, dense & dry)
Cookies: Buttery, airy, with choc, nuts, etc (choc chip cookies)
Scones: As how scones are
