@peterdray Change the question to ‘what are you going to do when etc’. Either keep trying the same thing with diminishing returns, or try something new. The thing that I’ve found to give joy in the hardest of times is… Brings in the personal, and makes it practical.

Help please! I'm helping to write a message on a Christian approach to joy. How can this question be changed in a way that's less leading...? "But if the quick fixes of momentary joy aren’t sufficient enough, where might true joy be found?"

@andyflannagan @LeftBankLeeds is a beautiful old church used for lots of community events but not Sunday worship.

Friends I have an interesting challenge for us. For a significant project, could you help myself and team find an old beautiful church building that is not used for services (or anything else) on a Sunday? Ideally someone would 'host' us. Power and facilities useful!

HooMum here: I am in utter shock. When I went to call Ruby in for her supper last night, she didn’t come, and I found her dead in the garden. Rushed her to the vets who were not able to do anything. They think she must have had a massive heart attack. I am heartbroken.
