Hear me out: -Carnell Tate: Commanders (1.07). Overqualified No. 2 with vertical ability that is a match made in heaven with Jayden Daniels. -Makai Lemon: Saints (1.08). Instant No. 2 pass-game option in offense that badly needs a WR to complement Olave. -Jordyn Tyson: Dolphins (1.11). Instant 150 target upside if the injury gods decide to chill the hell out. -KC Concepcion: Panthers (1.19): Homecoming and forms a nicey WR trio so Carolina can find out once and for all if Bryce is the future. -Denzel Boston: Bills (1.26): I don't see the Keon comps, either way, big, possession, contested-catch artist would be nice complement to DJM and Shakir. -Omar Cooper: 49ers (1.27): Adding a legit YAC threat between Evans and Pearsall? Hell yeah, brother. -Chris Bell: Eagles (2.54): Maybe wishful thinking he'll still be on the board, but fun AJB replacement once the knee is good. -Chris Brazzell: Rams (2.61): Vertical field-stretcher who isn't 5'3"

All of the good orgs consistently do this teams get the most bang for their buck extending their own before they get to their walk year

People will really look at the Ken Walker contract and this JSN contract, and then try to say positional value doesn’t matter in Round 1.

So if we sign a free agent now, we lose our round 7 comp pick? So we won’t sign anyone new from free agency until after the draft? So nothing else is happening for a month and all it’s going to be during these long days of waiting is speculation? So am I right?

@TrumanChief I’ve been saying since he resigned I don’t hate it. That said I hope he gets beat out and they have to move on.

Right now the cap impact is minimal (and the Chiefs still need 4-5 more OL for camp). Question will be if $650K guaranteed essentially puts Caliendo on the 53 no matter what players behind him do. Guess we won’t know how mad to be about this until August

@KCcardplayer @hbtCHIEFS The team likes him. I haven’t said I do. But I’m not going to be upset about him being on the 90 man, hoping he’s not still on the active for the season. And I’m not a part of RGR but thanks for the kind words

@ChrisClarkNFL @hbtCHIEFS Chris, you're my favorite part of RGR. For a lot of reasons. This is a rare miss. There aren't many backup guards that would be a downgrade and let's not pretend like it's a complex scheme to learn.
