Used to quite like the corridor digital videos for their unpacking of complex stuff for punters. This swing to just insulting other artists (and often misrepresenting the processes they're showing) is just massively disappointing. The algo pushing them off course?

@L0SSY @EMC3D I just mean the fact they talk with authority on game-dev subjects that they have very little experience about drives me up the wall lol!

@chriscopeland3d @EMC3D I'm all for tech! And AI-generated content isn't going anywhere - if anything it'll just become more integrated into the process. And obviously, will improve a lot. But... in my limited experience, I don't see it replacing real artists. A tool yes, but not a replacement.

@EMC3D Absolutely love Corridor, but I clicked off the video after the intro 😫 I didn’t need to see more than that. Coming up to a year in games, and even that’s enough to know this video was missing the mark.

Portfolio is King. All that talking and networking and watching tutorials isn't helping you if your Portfolio/Reel isn't breaking necks.
