Made it home from @dukemedicine this afternoon. It feels great to be home. The surgeon is confident that they got all the cancer during surgery. Praying for a good pathology report in a week or two. I’ve appreciated all the prayers to this point. God is good!

People praying for you brings such a peace. 3:30pm surgery today at Duke and I had an amazing night of sleep. God is good and I’m so blessed to have so many amazing people in my life. This experience has made me self reflect about how I can do better when others have tough times.

There’s no better way to start an Easter! Thank God that he sent is son, so that we can have eternal life!

Maybe I’m just becoming that grumpy old man, but why the concert between games? This isn’t the Super Bowl. The people tuned in tonight to watch basketball. What am I missing?

@CoachSHoltz Great reminder to all coaches. We spend so much time trying to be “successful”. We need to spend more time trying to be significant. Coach players on the important aspects of life, and success is likely to follow.

My father passed away today resting peacefully at home. I appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers over the last couple months! He was successful, but more important he was Significant.

Earlier this year in the championship game of the HTC Invitational win over North Myrtle Beach, coach Overbeek quietly earned his 500th victory as a varsity head coach in an unconventional manner: Baseball (406) Football (3) Girls Basketball (56) Boys Basketball (42). Congrats!
