Rewatching CHRISTMAS VACATION and appreciating that they take the time to show the stress getting to Ellen Griswold (instead of her being the reactionary comedy movie Stepford Wife) between all the huge visual & slapstick gags. That’s what makes this such a bulletproof classic.

I’m now in week 2 of being sick with Covid. I hit a 106.8 fever yesterday and thought I was dying 🥵. I got Covid two weeks ago, then gave it to Mel, then Mel gave it back to me (which I didn’t even know was possible). I miss the common cold. Hope to be back soon everyone!
