@juanandres_gs haha, this applies to so many things in security. If I had a nickel for the number of times someone said "we'll just build our own agent"... well I wouldn't be rich, but I could buy a coffee and watch the train wreck. Turns out writing a cross platform agent is NOT like syslog.

For the large enterprises out there that are just *dying to learn the same lessons the hard way*— No. Building your own TIP is not a good idea. No, it won’t be cheaper. No, MISP isnt fine. If you’re not putting a long term engineering team + maintainers w an SLA on it, then it’s not a serious endeavor. Don’t subject an intel org to your pet project. We don’t have to repeat the same mistakes everywhere.
