PSG forward, Ousmane Dembélé:
"Our mentality is always to win matches. We can't be in our own half and just hold on to a lead [vs #Chelsea]. We're going to attack and try to win."

@siphillipssport@Plettigoal They're still trying to get him this summer ?? Why recall Anselmino then ? At this point just try to pre-sign him for the summer... I really don't understand this board anymore
Chelsea are not giving up on Jeremy Jacquet. They are pushing hard to find a solution before Deadline Day.
Bayern are currently not in negotiations with Jacquet’s management or Rennes and only remain interested for the summer, but nothing more at this stage.
[@Plettigoal]
🚨 Chelsea have contingency plans should Douglas Luiz not progress, while the creative forward role has been under discussion since the last window, when they opted against purchasing Xavi Simons. Defenders also still under discussion. (@SJohnsonSport) #CFC
@FabrizioRomano The most predictable thing this board could do, ofcourse we were minked with a bunch of players and then hit with the "we are happy with the CB's we have at chelsea and recalled a player for squad depth"... this board will never change
🚨🔵 More business to do for Chelsea in the upcoming days after activating today recall clause for Aaron Anselmino.
#CFC involved in race for Jeremy Jacquet to be signed now but for summer, battle ongoing with Liverpool and FC Bayern.
Extra business could also happen next week.
@CFCMods Our fanbase is so reactionary, wasn't convinced by him for years while many loved him, only from end of last season I really started to like him. He's been so good for us untill like what, 1-2 months ago with dome fewer matches ? Now all of a sudden majoraty of our fans dislike him
@CFCdruw I'm with you there... but unfortunately, looking at how chelsea has been moving the past few years we will get a "Chelsea looked at various options in January but have confidence in the current defenders and think they can achieve great thing" are some PR bs
Jeremy Jacquet is arguably the highest sought after CB in the world right now. He’s one of the best profiles/players available, if not THE best.
Of course Rennes are expecting a Club record fee. If he’s your number one priority, you should be prepared to pay a nice sum of change.
Every report we’ve seen seems to suggest he’s our top target, but now it’s time for us to prove it.
@mioseswelly@BobbyVincentFL Pretty sure the PR message at the end of the transfer window will be something like "Chelsea indeed looked at the market for defenders, but after some consideration, chelsea is pretty happy with their options and confidence in their own players" or some bullshit like that
At #CFC open training this morning. Malo Gusto, Estevao Willian and Jamie Gittens all involved in pre-Pafos session after missing Brentford at the weekend
Chelsea continue talks with Rennes for Jeremy Jacquet. Player keen on the move. Rennes want more than the €64m they sold Jeremy Doku for. French defender is Chelsea's priority for now.
As exclusively revealed last week on @talkSPORT, other options Chelsea could explore are Como's Jacobo Ramon and Bournemouth's Marcos Senesi.
Ramon tough to pull off as he only joined Como over the summer. Real have a buyback clause and have not ruled out triggering it at the end of the season.
Senesi a free agent this summer. Bournemouth haven't had any approach from Chelsea or other clubs yet.🔵
@siphillipssport@FabrizioRomano Yeah this is typical chels PR. Saying that we wanted him sooooo badly and they did everything to ge the job done but at the end of January we won't see an ny new faces
Not an easy negotiation between Chelsea and Rennes for Jeremy Jacquet. Rennes want really important money as they believe he’s one of the best young defenders in the world. New contacts this week to try get closer to final price and structure.

🚨 Chelsea were trying to sign a centre back all of last summer, but Maresca’s public comments on needing one weakened their leverage in the market. (@SkyKaveh)
@FabrizioRomano And at the same time you have those two clown directors of the two best laliga teams commenting on every player possible except their own
🚨🇨🇮 Bayern director Freund: “Yan Diomandé is a very good player who's had a very good development”.
“It's normal that when a Bundesliga player plays well or develops well, he gets linked to FC Bayern. He's a Leipzig player and it's not our job to comment on that”.
🚨 Elliot Anderson is on Chelsea’s list for the summer window, with appreciation for Mainoo and Wharton, too. Liam Rosenior will play a role in deciding which names the club go for in the market. (@JacobsBen)
A five-goal thriller in the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-final is won by @Arsenal🏆
Goals from Ben White, Viktor Gyokeres and Martin Zubimendi earn the Gunners victory despite an Alejandro Garnacho brace 💪
🚨 EXCL: Internally at Chelsea, there is a growing belief that Estevão is the one the club want to build around.
The feeling inside the club is that Estevão has the profile, ceiling and impact to be given the keys to the project going forward, with plans being discussed to make him a central figure in the attack. ⭐️🔵
Cole Palmer remains hugely valued, but Chelsea’s long-term vision is increasingly focused on Estevão as the player to lead the new era.
