@clutchjd @vacantvesselsc @mhound5 It can also reduce ptsd through exposure. If you worry and you take cannabis, youre likely to get panic attacks worrying, maybe even "experience" it in intense daydreams, which in the end gets you more familiar. Its the same with psychadelics in ptsd treatment.

@ChrisDaFerfer @vacantvesselsc @mhound5 I’m not sure that chronic smoking will develop psychosis but there seems to be not concrete evidence for or against it so I believe it’s possible.
I do however believe that smoking can alter the mind and lead to anxiety and depression.

@clutchjd @vacantvesselsc @mhound5 Well yes and no. I say "yes" if you smoke or take that much at once, youre likely to experience psychotic symptoms, but "no" to saying you will develop psychosis.
I will add, if you frighten any mind bad enough it will permanently change, so people do change after trippin.

Also my point was the OP nor anyone else specified casual or chronic use. Just cannabis usage in general.

@clutchjd @vacantvesselsc @mhound5 Yeah bc all of above is abuse of a drug not casual use. Anybody doing concentrates are consuming abussive levels of canabis guranteed. Whether someone experiences psychotic symptoms is case by case, but saying someone has psychosis from cannabis is ill-informed

@vacantvesselsc @mhound5 Causing substance induced paranoia, intrussive thoughts, panic, sinsitive hearing misinterpretations is not psychosis. Having a psychotic episode NOS would take abussive amounts of cannabis. Lastly an episode is not the same as having psychosis.

Parenting is hard etc but I’m sorry if you’re allowing your toddler 2-3 hours of screen time per day you actually are failing them and you’re failing as a parent. This past week I saw at least a dozen toddlers running around with devices, some with phones clipped to their strollers(!). Your toddler has only been in the world for a short time. It’s still very interesting to them if you let them look up at it.
