This archive pic shows racehorse Norton’s Coin being paraded through Nantgaredig in Carmarthenshire after it won the Cheltenham Gold Cup in March 1990. At odds of 100/1, the victory still represents the biggest upset in the history of the #Cheltenham Festival.

The first home game of the season @CarmarthenAFC v @CDraconians missed a few chances, so did they, took the lead and looked comfortable allowed them back in and rode our luck. This time thankfully we held out and won 2-1.

@BarryTownUnited I have my sympathies, however not surprised. During Covid and when the league was abandoned, Carmarthen Town were Relegated with 10 games to go. 10!! The FAW were not interested in any of the various solutions. Every decision they make will be covered by their Solicitors.

5️⃣More recognition for goalkeepers including an option for penalties to be marked as saved and not just missed. Adding a clean sheet stat section would also show those who have performed in between the sticks
