@mfa_russia @TokayevKZ Au lieu de discuter inutilement au Téléphone, il se dépêche de régler le problème ukrainiens. @OlgaBazova If it were Israel, Ukraine would be a settled matter. Putin is too weak. This isn't patience, it's weakness. You don't let a conflict drag on when you can end it quickly. Finally, Russians are dying.

@OlgaBazova It is also time for Putin to realize the futility of negotiations with Ukraine and finally accept to wage war properly and, if necessary, use nuclear weapons against his enemy.

@thr34ts33k3r @wartranslated When you say that drones don't leave much behind, that applies to both situations. As you seem unaware, Russia is mass-killing Ukrainian soldiers using drones, so your reasoning has its limits.

@wartranslated There may be a few reasons 1. Russia has taken some land where they died so Ukraine cant get the bodies (unlikely) 2. Russia does not actually want to state they have the bodies as it will then have to pay relatives (maybe) 3. Drones dont live much of the bodies behind (certain)

@Svyrydenko_Y Russia threatened to massively bomb Kyiv if Ukraine attacked Moscow during the Red Square parade. But Russia used the ceasfire stockpiling weapons and as a “thank you,” Russia is massively bombing Ukraine again. I hope Ukraine leaened this lesson: Next time, don’t spare Moscow!

This night, Russia carried out a massive combined attack against Ukraine, using many ballistic and cruise missiles. Civilian infrastructure and residential buildings were hit. It was an especially difficult night for Kyiv. Sixteen people were injured and are receiving medical assistance. As of now, one person is reported dead. My condolences to their family and loved ones. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing at the strike sites. In the Kyiv region, seven people were injured. Kremenchuk, Bila Tserkva, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Odesa were also under attack overnight. I thank our Air Defense Forces for their tremendous work. I thank the rescuers who worked at emergency sites throughout the night and continue clearing the rubble. Ukraine needs help in strengthening its air defense. This is the only way to save our people and our cities.

@Svyrydenko_Y @JayinKyiv Ukraine doesn't need weapons, it simply needs peace. Start by envisioning an end to this conflict through negotiations. Ukraine will not win this war, so stop thinking that more weapons will solve your problem.

Russia is attacking Kyiv with cruise and ballistic missiles. Explosions are heard. Russian authorities promised not to launch a missile strike on Kyiv if Ukraine didn't attack the May 9 military parade in Moscow. And they lied. They always lie. They have no honor, their words are worthless. No agreement with Russia is possible.

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA That's why we're asking for negotiations. Above all, avoid saying that Russia must withdraw. If you continue to think that way, then the war could continue.

Russia would need decades to capture Donbas at its current pace of advance — The New York Times According to NYT, Russia’s offensive has slowed to “a crawl.” After gains at the end of last year, Russian forces have effectively stalled, while Ukraine has even regained territory in some areas. The newspaper estimates that at the current rate of advance, it would take Moscow more than 30 years to fully seize Donbas. At the same time, Putin is trying to convince Donald Trump that Russia’s victory is “inevitable” and is demanding concessions from Kyiv. But, as NYT notes, the war has changed: massive armored assaults no longer deliver the same results because of drones. Additional problems include communication disruptions, restrictions on Telegram inside Russia, and difficulties managing drone operations. Ukrainian officials also warn that Russia may intensify attacks during the summer.

Storm of thanks from Ukrainians. This is what matters 🙏Peace and people can’t have “buts.” If Zelenskyy’s team has nothing to say, except of accusing me of being “pro-Russian”, then it means they have nothing to say at all.

@nexta_tv @OvindSingh_01 Ukraine has already lost but doesn't even realize it. Ukraine has lost 16 million inhabitants in 3 years, 20% of its territory, its economy is in ruins and relies solely on aid. You don't need to be Einstein to realize the defeat.

@oroborous @davidwaterking As for Ukraine, it has lost 16 million inhabitants since 2022. At this rate, Ukraine will run out of men faster. Thinking you're harming Russia, you're doing more harm to Ukraine...with friends like the EU, who needs an enemy?

The war is not winnable for Russia, and it's turning into a demographic catastrophe. Russia suffered 352,000 dead at the end of 2025. By now we are easily at 400,000 dead. That is 1% of the male Russian fighting age population of roughly 40 million. Another 2% are crippled and traumatized beyond repair. 1 out of every 30 Russian men between 18 and 60 has been killed or maimed by this war. Progress on the battlefield keeps slowing. At the current pace, taking the average casualty rate per square kilometer over the last 12 and the last 6 months, Russia will need anything between 5 million and 25 million men to throw into the meat grinder just (!) to take the rest of the Donbass, Zaporizhia and Kherson. This war is not sustainable, and it's certainly not winnable. Putin will literally run out of cattle to send to the slaughter before he can achieve even his minimum objectives.

"For the first time this year, Mediazona and Meduza have updated the overall estimate of the actual number of Russia’s losses in its war against Ukraine. It is based on the Probate Registry and reflects the number of male Russian citizens aged 18 to 59 who died since the start of the full-scale invasion to the end of 2025: 352,000." @mediazzzona @meduza_en en.zona.media/article/2026/0…

@Sssince1908 @nexta_tv They don't want to die for NATO interests. Ukrainian soldiers are deserting en masse because dying in this conflict would be pointless. Ukraine has lost 16 million of its people in 5 years of war. To continue believing that 100,000 soldiers could drive out the Russians is idiotic

@nexta_tv I've heard that Ukraine has at least 600,000 men of conscription age abroad. If just 100,000 of them returned to lend a hand, 🇺🇦 would push the ruzzians out of its borders. Zelensky should do everything he can to convince them. If just 1 in 6 returned, everything would change.

@nexta_tv Ukraine should simply have ignored its Western friends in 2022 and signed the peace agreement in Istanbul. That would have saved thousands of lives and allowed Ukraine to live in peace. But, well, Zelensky, the modern-day Churchill, wants his eternal war.

About 22–25 million people are currently living in areas controlled by Kyiv This estimate was given by Ukraine’s Minister of Social Policy Denys Uliutin. According to him, the country’s population was around 48 million in 1991, and about 41 million at the beginning of 2022. After the start of the full-scale war, the situation worsened sharply due to migration, occupation of territories, and a demographic crisis. An additional roughly 3 million people, the minister said, remain in territories seized by Russia.

@nexta_tv Let Ukraine continue like this. We're getting closer to Boris Johnson's "to the last Ukrainian." It's much simpler and less costly to make peace with the Russians than to continue a war that we'll ultimately lose.
