Sending Gruda out on loan leaves us with *checks notes* - 2 wingers for the whole season (Minteh and Mitoma) - neither of which are fully fit. #bhafc
English

@OfficialBHAFC That’s not the answer. Further making it look a bad fit to come to Brighton as a young talent looking to break through.

Couldn’t agree more. Utter tripe. 💩

@OfficialBHAFC This graphic is truly awful, never do it again admin!

@BettyBoochichi2 Completely inappropriate sanction. She made a mistake, which she admitted. It’s bloody hard being a copper and she had a moment of being a human being for goodness sake. A written warning would have sufficed or even reflective practice.

A police officer has been dismissed without notice following a gross misconduct disciplinary hearing.
The hearing was held by Northamptonshire Police at Force Headquarters on Monday, December 15 and Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in relation to Constable P1870 Kelly Pearce.
It was alleged that the officer concerned breached the standards of professional behaviour when:
On December 22, 2024, in the course of her duties, PC Pearce attended an incident at a public house and, whilst there, engaged in a conversation with a member of the public, which was inappropriate as the conversation was of a personal nature and/or in furtherance of a personal relationship.
Furthermore whilst subject to Northamptonshire Police’s Using BWV for Policing Purposes policy, PC Pearce turned her Body Worn Video off when providing Person A with her personal telephone number.
When Person A sent PC Pearce a message at 0035 hours on December 23, 2024, PC Pearce responded, which was inappropriate as she had met Person A in the course of her duties.
It was alleged that the officer concerned breached the standards of professional behaviour relating to:
Honesty and Integrity (Integrity Only)
Discreditable Conduct
Orders and Instructions
The officer was present at the hearing and admitted the factual allegations but denied that the breaches amounted to gross misconduct, admitting misconduct only.
The panel considered the available evidence and found the matter was so serious as to amount to Gross Misconduct.
The panel determined that the most suitable outcome was dismissal without notice and “considered that anything less than dismissal would seriously undermine public confidence in the police and would not act as a deterrent to others.”

O2 price rise feels like a mockery of Ofcom’s consumer protection!
O2 has announced that from April 2026, mobile customers will see their monthly bills rise by MORE THAN IT TOLD THEM, £30 a year – up 40% from the £21.60 annual increase previously written into their contracts. Full help to beat it here, you need act quick... moneysavingexpert.com/news/2025/10/o…
Here is my press statement on this debacle...
----------------
This move feels to me a bit like it makes a mockery of @Ofcom's new 'pounds and pence' consumer protection regime, which came in at the start of this year. It was the regulator's solution to hideous above-inflation, mid-contract price hikes was that on sign-up firms should tell you in advance, in pounds and pence, the price hikes you'll face during the contract period.
Sky has side-stepped this from the start by saying it wouldn't tell customers of the rises before they sign up, but instead when it does annual price hikes it will allow them to leave penalty free.
Now O2 is also dancing away, increasing contracts by more than it said it would when people signed up. And while that means all its impacted mobile customers can leave penalty-free – and many should – we know few will. Most will likely just have to suck up a rise that was more than they were told when they signed up.
The worry is now O2 has opened the door to this behaviour other mobile firms will feel less worried about following suit. It's a great regret that when Ofcom consulted on these changes it didn't listen to the proposal I and others made to simply ban above-inflation, mid-contract price rises (or any mid-contract rises).
And it's worth noting the rises O2 had told customers of in advance were already usually far above inflation, but now will typically be at least 7% and up to 30%. And all this adds more inflationary pressure to the economy in its own right.

This is down to trauma centres, paramedics and advanced paramedics, police medics and first responders and HEMS. It is certainly not down to anything you have done.
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan@MayorofLondon
Some politicians and commentators continue to denigrate London and talk our great city down, but the facts show a very different picture. The number of homicides in London in the first nine months of 2025 was lower than in any year since monthly records began 22 years ago.

@dharford79 Ah yes. I only want to be half seen. Ooh I know let’s use my side lights. Perfect. 🙄

It never ceases to amaze me when it’s thick fog outside, the amount of drivers who appear to have lost all common sense.
When it’s foggy, you need dipped headlights. On.
Not sidelights.
Not sidelights & fog lights.
Not daytime running lights!
Dipped headlights.

🧵 many people have commented on the actions of the officer in this post. I will explain below why they were wrong to criticise the officer. The area was designated as a sterile area under S14 POA (confirmed by the force involved).
