Just saw that Charlotte’s Chariot ii, a P-51D owned by Dan Fordice was involved in a fatal accident today in Tallulah, Louisiana. Looking at some of these V-Speeds on ADSB is rather eye raising.

Here we are in the middle of May and it’s currently 67° with a dewpoint of 37°. In Columbia, SC. Dare I say it feels a little cool outside? #scwx

Hmmm. A 757 cargo variant that left Belfast, Northern Ireland this morning with a stop in Nova Scotia for fuel. About an hour out from Metro. I would love to know what the heck this thing is carrying bc whatever it is isn’t too large or too heavy but valuable enough to get loaded on a chartered aircraft.

@ChrisJacksonSC Bio hazard. People to be quarantined because of the hantiviris incident. Theyve sent them all home via charted flights.

I’ll give the Canadians credit, the livery on this thing is gorgeous. And for even more mystery on what it’s hauling, it parked on the passenger ramp out from Delta’s gates. Odd for them not to use Eagle’s giant ramp in front of the Tower like everyone else uses for special cargo flights.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but relying on footage sales as a chaser is an outdated business model. There are plenty of more direct and efficient ways to monetize that don’t involve relying on brokers or sales to legacy networks. This isn’t a change we can fight.
Jordan Hall@JordanHallWX

If you’re a storm chaser and allow distribution of your content and give your content to Storyful/viralhog. You are the reason networks and stock video companies don’t take us seriously. Makes you no different than someone on their back porch with a cellphone video. Not to mention the amount of undercutting you are doing to the video market on top of your own bank account.

I sit here looking at FiFi on the Eagle Ramp at @iFlyCAE and it’s incredible that American ingenuity and skill built this airframe that first flew in 1942. It was so incredibly advanced for its time with a pressurized cabin, 4 Wright R-3350 Radial Engines making 2,200hp each, and could fly at over 350mph for 3,500 nautical miles at over 30,000ft with a climb rate of almost 1,000ft/min. This aircraft was more expensive to develop than the atomic bomb was (Manhattan Project). Being able to take the fight directly to the Japanese mainland from Tinian in the Northern Mariana Islands with the B-29 allowed us to immediately end WW2 the moment the 2 nuclear bombs were mission ready. This is a shining example of American ingenuity to have something so advanced from a time that everything was sketched on a piece of paper and then designed with pen and paper. The Boeing B-29 is one example of what makes America the greatest nation in the history of this planet.
