@SamDmsc @tfabulous1313 They've said from the very beginning ... if you watched the games on cable last year, you will be able to watch them in the same way. The $99 rate very clearly says streaming. This isn' t a grift.

I've been told that if you watched games on ROOT via a cable provider last year, you will be able to watch them again this year. The exact channel isn't known yet. I've also been told that MLB and the cable companies might not announce the programming package/channel till the morning of opening day. Why? Cause they know it doesn't matter, you'll still pay and watch.

YouTube TV has been battling with multiple sports networks in the past. If other teams like the Padres, D'Backs and others under the MLB umbrella for production and distribution weren't on YouTube TV last year or this year, then the Mariners won't be either. .

The Mariners are frustrated with the situation as well. They would like to provide more clarity, but they aren't really being given it by MLB. MLB is busy with other stuff apparently.
