Is Budget the worst car rental company? I had a terrible customer service, had to beg for a refund and call twice, and the best they said was a coupon. They do not respond on X. What legit company nowadays behaves like that?

@Budget Is this any way to treat a customer? I had a reservation at the local office in York, PA today. Reservation at 1:30 pm, office closes at 2:00 pm. I called at 1:30 pm to make sure they were open and confirmed. At 1:55 pm, I called to say I was

@Budget To rent a car from MDT airport will require 50 minutes of travel time each way PLUS I will need to pay for parking for the car I will be driving to get to the airport. Not to mention the hassle and inconvenience.

@Budget that I had a reservation, and she smiled and turned her back. I continued knocking on the door, but she went to the back and never came out. Is this any way to treat a customer? I called the national number and the best they could do was honor my rate

General Manager wrote, "We unfortunately are not able to take it to the post office and pay for shipping with reimbursement." [You have our credit card to charge, so not an issue there. And, the postal carrier comes every day to the hotel.]

Is customer service dead? At @Fairfieldsuites @FairfieldHotels @Marriott it apparently is. My 7-year old son left a stuffed animal at Fairfield Inn in Monaca, PA. To him, the item is worth far more than its actual cost (as any parent with a child knows).
