@Asnow119 Kaliyev, Brink, and Dorofeyev were in my top 20. He signed an extension in KHL, was 163 lbs, and his skating needed improvement.

@BlueBullet1981 Smart man! All the way up to the early 2nd is insane recognition. Nicely done! Any chance you remember the knock on him that had him go as low as 79?

@Madi39 @JasonGregor Crickets... It's funny. If Jason actually knew the truth, he would have his tail between his legs rather than mounting a high horse.

The best argument I’ve seen for keeping Knoblauch and not hiring Cassidy is. The other oilers coaches didn’t get to two Stanley cup finals. Cool! Bruce Cassidy has actually won a Stanley cup and recently!

@JasonGregor @LiamHorrobin Not the way to handle it, but when you have been petty and contemptuous towards your boss as well as the owner's best friend, it's not that surprising.

League sources say #Oilers have sought permission to interview Bruce Cassidy as they contemplate significant coaching staff changes. To this point, sources say @GoldenKnights have withheld permission from division rival. Gamesmanship? Perhaps. Mostly unprecedented for role.

One last thought on Vegas delaying access to Cassidy. They are allowed to do so legally so until the rest of the league, unions etc. have the appetite to punish them for perceived transgressions, they'll continue to follow word of the law versus convention.

@Ade780 @frank_seravalli @GoldenKnights So you want a new precedent set in the league and for more cutthroat behavior? From my experience in corporate, that is a recipe for disaster. Their is still decorum in the business world, believe it or not.

@frank_seravalli @GoldenKnights I truly don’t see the issue. Bruce is still being paid by Vegas, they have the right to do this. They probably don’t want to potentially see him in the playoffs next year. Vegas and Edmonton, should be battling for the Pacific for the next few years. They will undoubtedly clash.

It's time for Katz to fire back at Vegas and give David Carle an offer he can't refuse.

This shouldn’t be allowed. It’s one thing if the person is still employed by the organization. You fired him, deemed him not good enough — you don’t get to decide who employs him next. Cassidy should be able to walk away from VGK contract so they have no say.
