@ChrisMFC93 @Venom_MFC Yeah the EFL had to get it over the line because of the final in such a short space of time and fair play to them. We all know they’ve probably done this to everyone but ultimately the right punishment has been handed out and it makes an example so no one will ever do it again

Do feel for Millwall and possibly even Derby who finished 7th and missed out. Millwall were highest ranked team in the playoffs and lost in the first round whereas Boro finished 5th and basically got a BYE to the final. Logic suggests Millwall would be most deserving of the spot

@MarkBcfc3 @Venom_MFC It's just a case of what's been able to be proven with such a short investigation. It seems obvious from everyone this has been prolonged attempts to cheat and gain an advantage. One they have and ultimately taken away from other clubs

@reluctantnicko If they're spending time spying on Oxford, you've got to also assume their cheating had no limits. It was just these 3 teams who were able to prove it is what it sounds like

@PhilLUFC @LewisDeighton17 I agree with the city comment but the big difference in that example is we're far beyond when they broke the rules, retrospective actions always much harder.
I think the biggest outcome is deciding that the punishment, maintains a level of sporting integrity and is fair to all.

If Southampton are disqualified, postpone the final and have Millwall v Boro for their spot.

@LewisDeighton17 It's not about whether they got an advantage, it's that they did something that could have. The punishment has to be a sporting one to deter others. Boro on the receiving end so if guilty Saints should forfeit the first leg 3-0, putting Boro through 4-2 on aggregate

That's the half. Really slowed down after Hull's early flurry. Both managers went into the dressing room quickly.
#Millwall can probably be pleased with their efforts, mostly controlled the match, although Hull did have their chances in transition.
The Lions need to have more composure in the final third in the second half - they look like they're rushing themselves - a lot of snatched long-range efforts.
