At some point, senior Premier League execs have to offer a proper explanation in public for their leniency towards Chelsea. They owe an explanation to fans of clubs punished more harshly. They owe an explanation to those clubs who did abide by the rules. They have to offer some explanation as to why PSR breaches are deemed far more serious than acts of "deception and concealment". Yes, these are the offences of a previous regime at Chelsea. But inconsistencies run through the PL's defence and their reputation is damaged. They can’t hide from a controversy of this magnitude.

Leeds have no VAR errors against them this season. They only have two on-field refereeing errors logged. - Max Dowman's penalty in August - Second yellow for Cole Palmer in injury time last month

@CPFCHQ Yeah, classic case of giving a "safe" yellow for match/crowd control having (rightly) waved away calls for a 2nd Bijol card and realising immediately after blowing the whistle he'd missed an obvious advantage and stopped a break. Except he'd forgot he'd already booked him

What on earth is the ref doing there hahahaha Didn't know he was booked, gave him a yellow. He wouldn't have sent him off if he'd have known. Did he book him for failing to give play on? Crazy, crazy scenes. #CPFC

@Phillyconcarne @robinjescott It wasn't a dive, definitely a foul but nothing more than that, he turned into Bijol but happens to be a fair bit shorter and found a shoulder

@robinjescott @PhilLUFC His mouth was bleeding, hardly a dive. And if Bijol was asking for a yellow then he should have been given a second yellow for that

@Jcpfc25 Unsportsmanlike behaviour, which is still card worthy believe it or not. He'd have been booked if not directly behind the ref. Kind of funny he did this and it didn't help the result

@Beniesta_ @dunlupo Then turned down his easy opportunity to even it up with Johnson. Poor game all round really, neither team really on it, poor penalty miss, abysmal refereeing. One for everyone to forget as soon as possible.

@JackLUFC1919 Timing was awful, turned up fit for the start of preseason for the first time in several years only to be told he wasn't needed. Could have offered something but can't help feel the change was good for all parties, really pleased Bamford is enjoying his football and doing well

How do you come to the conclusion that piroe is in your plans but Bamford needs to be immediately banished because he isnt? Not saying Bamford shouldve definitely stayed and would've been amazing, but hed have been a much more useful 3rd choice cf

@lufcboy74 @_RB_Ash @TTBR101 Decent movement even if being overlooked, generally looks after the ball with intelligent passing choices (mostly safe but as a team we're coached to be), works hard to be in the right defensive position. He's not a leading light at this level but I think he can be trusted

@_RB_Ash @TTBR101 I think Piroe has shown enough recently to suggest he could do a job as we've striker from the bench alongside either DCL or Nmecha. It's enough to make the main 2 an option at least.

@TTBR101 Over DCL if he's not fit. I don't think we'll ever play then two together from the start just because I feel DF likes having that option off the bench. Can't rely on Piroe, he's shit at this level.

@danielhavfc @BetHawkUK @FPLGOAT7 Wasn't in a bad position, like everyone else he expected the cross, needed to be right in the corner with pace to beat him, he got close (a lot closer than Perri did for the free kick you scored at Elland Road)

I think I'm happier with West Ham than Brentford but Brentford have been absolutely done there by the officials. Should have had a first half pen, Summerville should have walked for the penalty they did get and having got away with that he should have got a 2nd yellow in ET
