@sys_crash Do it! The best ones borrow already. You're going to put a unique spin on it anyways, don't put your energy towards "covering your bases", put it towards what you are uniquely suited to do.

Trying to prevent a game from feeling derivative and ending up having to reinvent the wheel is so annoying. I mean, MotW, Night's Black Agents and Brindlewood Bay have *amazing* investigative procedures, but outright borrowing from them feels wrong, y'know?

@HODAGRPG Went to a con last weekend and was very bummed out by players who really got into race jokes. I swear half the reason elves and dwarves and orcs have persisted in fantasy so powerfully is that a certain crowd gets off on vicarious racism.
