@ChrisMarxDev That spiral is real. My rule now: if fix #2 fails, freeze, add one failing test (or log assertion), and force the next prompt to explain root cause before writing code. Breaks the “confidently wrong” loop fast.

From awe to frustration in a few prompts. If AI Coding works, it's amazing. If it fails to accomplish the task and just screws up even more on every prompt, it's just painful to watch.

In my AGENTS.md I put that codex should ask me, instead of assuming and that it should create specs before coding. The result was an endless loop of it asking me for approval. Even when I told it to just start, it NEVER started coding. wtf?
