@Malachians I never viewed Amorim as a problem and was upset to see the cycle repeat sacking him. I think he will have a successful career.

I am extremely curious to see how Amorim does at Milan. His time at Utd was so bad it’s hard for me to believe that is actually his level. He built an exceptional Sporting team who demolished Guardiola’s City team and was widely regarded as one of the worlds top young coaches but he was the Massimo Taibi of Utd managers, it was a total nightmare from start to finish.

I think it was a mistake not to start Olmo and Muñoz. You can do all that stuff, got 2 xg, hit bar, no goal, tuff.

@BobEndrickk @JosipFCB93 Against a low block like Cape Verde played the "individual brilliance" is what breaks it. You need 1v1 players because they won't come out of their shell for anything. Thats the whole point. Japan is good in quick counters, which they would've had 0 against Cape Verde today.

@BCNOgi The Spain team that was fielded today probably plays a lot better against Argentina because they wouldn't face a 90 minute low block with no counter threat. People confuse the draw with being bad vs. what it actually was which was an inability to break a block without wingers.

Fully understand why Spain ducked the Finalissima in March. They'd get absolutely annihilated by Argentina and lose all their fear factor. Good business decision

Secondly, it was far more a tactical issue of not having wingers than being outplayed, that much was fairly obvious. Cape Verde were good enough to prevent a vastly bad setup from scoring, which is cool, but only cool.
