JUST IN: Dallas police officer shoots 27-year-old suspect after he punched officer in the face during traffic stop At 2:02 a.m. Saturday morning, 27-year-old Jeremy Mays was first approached by Dallas police while walking along the interstate. Officers demanded him to get back into the SUV or face arrest. Just 13 minutes later, officers pulled over the vehicle Mays’ girlfriend was driving near Highland Park Village. During the traffic stop, Mays left the vehicle, hit the officers car, and then struck the officer in the face with a ring on his right hand, causing severe lacerations to the officer’s eyes. The officer then drew his weapon and fired twice, striking Mays once. Mays’ girlfriend fled the scene and is currently being sought by police. Both the officer and Mays were taken to area hospitals with injuries.

This man went to a restaurant and ordered a bowl and a burrito. After he paid, they but both items in the same bag and handed it to him. The man takes the bag and takes a few steps and drops his food onto the floor. He claims they should have put each item in its own bag instead of bagging them together. He then takes both items that have touched the floor and puts it on the counter and wants them to remake it. They tell him the would only do so if he threw the items away, he refuses to throw it away himself and demands they give him his money back. Besides telling him to leave, should they have just thrown it away themselves and refunded him or did they refuse because he broke food safety guidelines by putting the dirty food on the counter?

Tuesday, 2:15pm—broad daylight, right as school lets out, kids and families moving through the area—and a teen walks up and shoots another unarmed teen on the sidewalk in front of a POAH property on Walnut. Not hidden, not isolated—right there in the open—and then no panic, no urgency…two teens calmly walking away North on Walnut, cutting East on McMicken, and going straight into another POAH building on E. McMicken Three minutes later—2:18pm—one of them walks back out, like nothing had just happened, and then even more gunfire…two shots fired at him as he heads west on McMicken, as he takes off running down the street while people are still out, still moving, still trying to get home from school without stepping into a live shooting scene. Same blocks, same buildings, same cycle—and the City still refuses to say the word out loud…gangs. Because once you say it, you own it, and once you own it, you have to explain why it keeps happening in the same places, with the same patterns, spilling out into the street in broad daylight while everyone pretends this is random or isolated or just another “incident.” But this doesn’t stop on the street—it walks straight into the courtroom, where Judge Kari Bloomcontinues to return violent juvenile offenders back into the same cycle they came from. Anyone that’s ever done any amount of flying knows that if you see the Captain (pilot) it is a brief glimpse perhaps on the jetway or at the entrance near the cockpit, so the fact that the Captain had to be the one to ask him to turn his phone down tells me that wasn’t the first interaction on the subject and when the Captain asked him “do you want to go to Fort Lauderdale” and he didn’t make the flight suggest he just couldn’t keep his mouth shut. NEW: Two Canton police officers indicted for reckless homicide in the death of Frank Tyson Beau Schoenegge and Camden Burch have been indicted for reckless homicide in the April 2024 death of 53-year-old Frank Tyson while in police custody. After wrecking into a utility pole, Tyson ran into an AMVETS club and asked someone to call the sheriff, but Canton police responded instead. A struggle ensued inside the club. Tyson was taken to the ground, handcuffed, and placed on his stomach with an officer’s knee on his back. Bodycam footage captured Tyson repeatedly saying he couldn’t breathe at least seven times in one minute. Once detained, he was left face down on the floor of the club for approximately five minutes before being attended to. He was transported to the hospital still in handcuffs and later died. The coroner ruled the death a homicide, with contributing factors including cocaine, alcohol, and cardiopulmonary arrest. A trial date has been set for August 10, 2026. If convicted, each officer faces up to 36 months in prison.

This 2018 Abilene, Texas alley showdown video over a trashed mattress is still sparking debate online 🔥 67-year-old Johnnie Miller and his son Michael were dumping trash when neighbor Aaron Howard, 37, snapped and he started yelling threats like “I’ll k*ll you both,” and kept advancing, even with a handgun and shotgun aimed at him and warnings to back off. Howard’s wife, Kara Box, was right there filming but instead of calming things down, she pushed it further, shouting things like “You’re not gonna shoot my husband!” Gunfire broke out. Howard was hit multiple times in the arm, torso, head and later died at the hospital. The Millers were arrested for murder and initially posted a shockingly low $25k bond before a viral video led to a re-arrest and a higher bond. By 2019, they were out again without issues. At the 2023 trial, Johnnie was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to 14 years (eligible for parole after 7), while Michael was acquitted. During sentencing, Johnnie’s wife, Laurie, pleaded for mercy so they could spend their remaining years together. So where do you stand? Self-defense that went too far, or outright murder? And did the wife make things worse?
