Just had to bite the bullet and buy this. A 10 year old second hand f’ing headlight that now needs fitting and coding to the car.
New price from Audi? £2800 plus vat.
And the junk now has an EML on and an Adblue warning.

@gwcollinge@DanNeidle I would like to buy some woodland for general amenity use - bit of DIY work for exercise, somewhere to camp in the wild occasionally, etc. but the prices have gone mad, probably due to this IHT scam.
@DanNeidle I know of certain wealthy individuals in North Cumbria who have bought farms and land for the sole purpose of avoiding inheritance tax. This has grossly inflated land prices.
@RealDMitchell@BBCOne@BBCiPlayer I'm having an awful sick day today, wracked with aches and coughs, so I thought I'd catch up on iPlayer. Thanks for this you guys, it is very very good.
I'm excited to announce the start of a new detective show which I'm in, alongside the brilliant Anna Maxwell Martin. It's called Ludwig and episode one is on Weds 25th September at 9pm on @BBCOne and @BBCiPlayer. I think it's gripping, funny and intriguing. I hope you will too.
@bushontheradio Quite clear nobody has a bad back and/or long legs where even a 1 hour flight sat in those seats is excruciating and you only do it when you absolutely have no choice.
@thealso Thanks Jim, in the last year we have done swirl flaps, timing chain and associated components, some of the suspension, new disks and pads, and a bunch of sensors. We have mostly only had servicing done up until now though, so we are still well on the upside!
@mourner@observablehq I just found this, and used it to try to figure out how wide an opening I need to reverse park my motorhome around the corner from my house. You made my life a lot easier, thanks!
🚗🅿️ As a driving beginner, I couldn't figure out how to properly park my car in a tight new parking spot. But as a proud geek, I knew just the thing that would help — a mathematical model with an @observablehq visualization! @mourner/kinematics-of-reverse-angle-parking" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">observablehq.com/@mourner/kinem…
@MartinSLewis It very much depends how much the company has annoyed me. If that is 'A LOT', I'd cash 1p with a smile on my face. If that is instead 'not at all' I probably wouldn't bother for £10 as travelling and parking would eat most of it anyway, plus a half day off work.
Today's Twitter Poll: I once got a cheque sent for 10p. If you were sent an automated cheque, what's the minimum amount it'd need to be for you to pay it in?
Which of these is CLOSEST to your minimum...
@redskyatnight I think you need to be in your 80s to have experienced any effect of it, we don't deeply appreciate the passage of time. My wife and I joke that care homes will need to be hosting mid-afternoon raves rather than Elvis impersonators soon.
Nick Robinson on R4 Today has just referred to pensioners as ‘the wartime generation’, despite the fact that most of them weren’t even born until the 1950s
