@itscalebadams 38th might have been hyperbolic, even by your list they are 12th which I think is very high as the top of the Norwegian league would beat MLS teams badly. It’s just not a good league, talent level is horrible.

Yeah I'm arguing it's a good league, but not an elite one. There are not 37 better leagues in the world than MLS. And there is a lot data to back that in addition to conversations I've personally had with European Sporting Directors and Scouts. Not even European soccer professionals would agree with your take. Plus all the MLS signings that have succeeded in Europe, including our very own Pat Agyemang and Adilson Malanda in what is an undisputed top 10 league in the Championship. Dean is right, it is the most even league in the world when it comes to roster quality. What ultimately makes the difference is coaching. This a league where coaching can quite literally be the difference between not making playoffs and being an MLS Cup contender i.e. Nashville.
