Guardians are at .233/.291/.370 with a .661 OPS against lefties through 79 plate appearances. That's not the split you want here. Noah Cameron gave up 1 run in 5 innings in his debut. He already owns a 1.50 ERA with 14 strikeouts in 12 innings across 2 starts against Guardians. Royals have been decent against righties with a .274 average and .758 OPS. Gavin Williams has still put up a 2.36 ERA in 8 starts against Royals, and he’s opened 2026 with 17 strikeouts in 12 innings. Williams just hung 7 scoreless with 10 punchouts on the Dodgers. The stuff is live right away. First pitch is sitting at 32 degrees, and this game only got here because the evening forecast was worse. Hard to buy a clean hitting environment in that kind of air. Is either lineup really getting to 4 runs before the weather steals a few good swings?

That matters when the injury report scares people off. Cleveland takes 40.1 threes a game. Memphis just doesn't have enough clean possessions or enough stops to hang inside two touchdowns.
