UNI didn’t actually hear their name called. CBS had sent them a direct feed that was supposed to be faster than the broadcast, however, someone at the network punched up something wrong, so all they saw was a feed of Hofstra celebrating when their selection came up.

This is *not* an apples-to-apples comparison. Clyburn was the single biggest factor in the Democrats not moving on from Joe Biden in the fateful summer of 2024. “We’re ridin’ with Biden” is still stuck in my head.
I can argue Clyburn is the reason we have Trump 2.0 today.

DNC’s decision to force Joe Biden onto the ticket in 2024 was spurred by Clyburn’s staunch “We’re ridin’ with Biden.” Democratic voters in MANY states were just never given option to vote.

I don’t care how damn old he is. I care whether he actually delivers.

This selfish decision does such a disservice to his district, to the Democratic Party, and to the country. There is an incredible bench of leaders in his community who could take the baton -- I hope one or many of them primary him and make him defend this choice.
