Of all the takes doing the rounds it's this one for me. The way people access, process, and understand information - and then form opinions on it, seemingly at random - has just dramatically and rapidly changed. And it's easier for one type of politician to take advantage of it.

Know I’m going peak games journo here but whattttt a game. The intricacy of the animations here are just ridiculous. How fast you do a little reload when you hop out. The slide-under-and-scoop up. The way the screens blip into life one at a time. Can’t get enough of it.

And probably also: several outlets getting shut down.

We've had a couple, but it still feels like an age since the times of big embargoes regularly dropping on twitter for major reviews and feeling like an event. Mix of the 2024 AAA vacuum, weird X algorithm nonsense and communities fragmenting across social media platforms, I guess
