I haven’t done an introduction in a while, and I know I have some new followers… So here’s my story! From body dysmorphia and a binge eating disorder to happy, healthy, and strong at 37 👇🏼 1️⃣ I’m a husband to a beautiful wife & father to 3 beautiful girls. 2️⃣ I’m an online fitness coach! I help fellow parents lose weight, build muscle & burn fat so they can keep up with their demanding careers AND kids. For me, my interest in fitness started at a young age, but my progress didn’t occur until far later in life. I was always a very skinny kid & suffered from a heavy dose of body dysmorphia. For the longest time, I convinced myself I couldn’t be the healthy, fit, muscular person I wanted to be. I always fell victim to classic “fad diets” & influencer workout programs. I did what looked cool, or what people promoted as the “secret nobody knew about.” And none of it worked. I convinced myself I couldn’t make progress. Maybe you’ve experienced that, too…   You try fasting, or keto, or HIIT workouts, and the results are short-lived (or non-existent). I’ve run my body into the ground more times than I ever want to admit, & for the longest time I hated exercise. Nutritionally, I let bad habits pile up until I developed a binge eating disorder. I’d be super strict during the week, only to burn out & binge on pizza, beer, & every snack I could get my hands on over the weekend. After countless failed attempts to build muscle, burn fat, & look & feel the way I wanted, I decided to take a different path on my 27th birthday. I wanted to be a husband. A father. A good example for my family. But I wasn’t embodying ANYTHING I believed in. So instead of hopping on another trend, I invested my time & effort into learning about training & nutrition. I found that a flexible approach was the REAL “secret” that I couldn’t find earlier in life. Once I started living more flexibly & focused on sustainable results instead of rapid progress…   That’s when my progress skyrocketed! 🚀 Fast forward 10+ years to today… I have a master’s degree in health & fitness & have been coaching since 2018. I have the privilege of helping other moms & dads avoid many of the pitfalls I experienced. We work together every single day to make progress that sticks for life.   That’s my story so far 😊 Thanks for following along!

Take some time to appreciate what you have — not what you lack. That’s what I’ve done over the past week, and it’s been one of the best weeks ever ❤️

And I’m so blessed to have a beautiful wife and 3 girls for the entire journey. It’s so easy to stress over work, money, and time. But ultimately, your health and happiness are what truly matters.

Happy Easter! Been taking a much-needed break from posting and consuming social media while we’re on vacation for the holiday. Most vacations in the past involved a lot of work stress. Here’s why… (a thread)

My birthday is on Wednesday, and truthfully I’m not a huge fan of it. Not because I’m worried about getting older, gray hairs, or anything like that. I’d just rather celebrate somebody else, if I’m being completely honest! (More details 👇🏼)

Neither of these men are married or have kids. Both are simply obsessed with their own personal perfection and optimization. There is nothing impressive about a single man with no kids sleeping well and being fit. Show me a man with young children, a full time job, disrupted sleep, who works out regularly, eats healthy, trains Jui Jitsu, with a muscular body… THIS is impressive. THIS requires extreme discipline.

Chris Williamson just shared his "nuclear" sleep stack that's quietly changing his life—and Andrew Huberman breaks down exactly why it works: If you're lying in bed at 2 a.m. scrolling or staring at the ceiling, this 4-minute protocol combo might be the fastest way to shut your brain off without pills. The two killer techniques Williamson swears by: 1. The Mind Walk (visualization on steroids) - Imagine walking a route you know perfectly (your house → front door → street) - Do it with insane detail: feel the shoehorn, hear the key turn, feel the door handle, pressure of the pavement - It's like reading fiction for your nervous system—engages the brain just enough to stop problem-solving loops, but not enough to keep you awake 2. Resonance breathing with the Ohm stone lamp - Bedside lamp with induction-charging stone that has a built-in FDA-cleared HRV sensor - Hold the stone → 3/6/9/12-minute guided sessions with silent tactile vibration (no sound, no light, partner-safe) - Guides you into true resonance frequency (max vagal tone) → the stone knows when you hit it - Williamson calls it “the sickest” sleep tool he’s ever used—currently in stealth (ohmhealth, not widely available yet) Huberman adds the neuroscience: Looking down + eyelids lowering activates parasympathetic circuits and deactivates wakefulness-promoting brainstem nuclei. It’s literally pedaling the sleep pedal while shutting off the alertness arm. Williamson: “Some days you need the adventure story (mind walk), some days you need the physiological hammer (resonance breathing). Stack them and I’m cross-eyed into sleep.” Already trying one of these? Or is your nighttime routine still a war zone?

You know what’s really overrated in the gym? Constantly switching exercises in search of the “most optimal” variation. And if you’re a busy mom or dad who just wants to feel stronger, leaner, and more athletic… you don’t need it.

The more effective sets you have, the less time you need to spend in the gym. Let me translate that. If you’re doing 8–10 reps and the last rep moves just as fast as the first… You’re not sending a strong enough signal for your body to change.

If you lift weights and do cardio on the same day… Which one should you do first? Busy moms and dads don’t have time to overthink this stuff, so let’s make it simple. 👇🏼
