Be careful with peptide sales, especially the ones you already know are illegal. Do not assume you are safe because Kennedy is running HHS. I do not know who needs to hear this, but understand how this works. The government does not care about your intentions. This is exactly when people get comfortable, and that is when they get trapped. Raids happen fast and they ruin lives.

90% of what I learned from 1st to 12th grade was useless and/or forgotten. School taught me that reading and learning sucks, because everything that school forced me to read and learn about, sucked. It wasn’t until I was out of school, that I actually fell in love with learning. This is something I keep thinking about as my kids enter school age…

Sure, however, this is the responsibility of normal parents. If kids come from a broken home, or have parents that work their lives away, and have no time for their children, sending them off to a public school system and having someone else teach them right from wrong, how to have fun, reason, basically all the things you listed, well, then that is just their only option, and it’s far from ideal.

@JacobEdwardInc @meowinghobbes Critical thinking, analysis, the skills of evaluation based around a framework of core knowledge selected by experts. What’s not to like? How can young people realise they love Shakespeare, the history of art, the beauty of quantum physics unless someone introduces them to it?

I was similar. I had zero interest in doing book reports on The Great Gatsby, etc. (Suprise!). I did the bare minimum to pass and advance. It wasn’t until around age 20, that I realized that if I didn’t get it together, I would be a loser my entire life. I changed almost overnight, crushed everything that I set my eyes on. Reading and basic math is all someone needs, the sky is the limit.

I barely graduated. If it weren’t for my gym teacher who also taught summer school I wouldn’t have. Then I found computers. I wanted to build a Tank Command game so I was forced to learn geometry and algebra. Now people are amazed at my ability to do math in my head. It took a few years, and an application to “see” how it all works, then it made total sense.

For some, it’s definitely great. I’m just having flashbacks to fifth grade, we spent an eternity learning about the Civil War, memorizing and being tested on generals, battles, etc… when a realistically that time could’ve been spent so much better. Just one example of wasted time.

@JacobEdwardInc I feel you- my experience was different. I really enjoyed school because I looked at it as a game. But I also recognize that I was a really weird kid and the vast majority of kids, especially boys do not thrive in that environment.
