Coach Mac was a delight. I loved to hear him talk football. Listening to his overflowing excitement during a touchdown run, a great defensive play or whatever drew out that “Hell yes!” was one of my favorite things. His color commentary made me smile when the team didn’t. RIP

@traviebird00 @bax_1108 Hooker probably wouldn't have worked out, but using a 5th rounder on hooker or a 7th on Jennings, 3rd on Alvin, a 4th on Thornton, a 6th on trey Smith. That woulda definitely increased fan support within the state.

A lot of people who swore they’d have been Titans fans if we had drafted Hendon do not care one bit that we signed him. They don’t give a shit that Alontae Taylor plays here now either. They don’t actually care about anything. If you aren’t growing up a Titans fan you won’t ever be a Titans fan and every time you pretend otherwise it makes you look like a whiny ass crybaby. And a liar.

While, I don’t want the Grizzlies to move, if they were, I’d prefer it to be here. But I don’t see it happening. I love baseball too, but it doesn’t seem tenable at all.

@PranavSriraman Hinting at what? The Grizzlies will not be moved. Nashville needs a baseball team, not a basketball team. The fan Support is already average to poor for the Titans and Preds, adding another team will further dilute fan money appeal.

Before and after Bob McNair was awarded his expansion franchise, he told me on multiple occasions how he wanted his team to be called the Texans. He wanted the Texans to forge their own identity, build their own legacy and create their own history. He wasn't interested in the Oilers' name or colors because those belonged to Bud Adams and his family.

Come on John. The history and the legacy of the Houston Oilers did not belong to Bob McNair. We could care less what he thinks because it belongs to the City Of Houston and the people of Houston! The Houston Oilers and the history that goes along with it, belongs to Houston, not Nashville.

I am the only person I know who did classes at community college, then went on to graduate from a 4 year school after.
I knew dozens of people who had that plan.

I've never understood why we pack our kids off to college 5 mins after they graduate high school. Community college is a great option for a lot of kids. They can still live at, or near home, have a job & still go to school. It was the best decision for me.
