While, I haven’t started reading yet, I thank Daniel Silva for putting the cast of characters at the beginning of the book. That helps so much and usually whenever I start a substantial novel, I will google the cast of characters before I start reading.

Just finished, Franz Kafka’s great masterpiece novel, The Trial. Since my retirement when one of my goals was to read as many books as possible-and recently as many literary classics as possible, I can say the last chapter 10 of, The Trial, is one of the most difficult emotional reads out of all of the novels I have read.

One thing I learned when looking up Franz Kafka, the Jewish philosopher/writer is I always thought he was German. But he was actually born in the Czech Republic, but he writes and talks in German.
