@girdley Came from sales but new to CRE, so I used AI to practice cold calls and negotiation. I’d set the scenario and personality, then live talk it out to sharpen skills on drives. Huge help. “Please be an owner of a Class A center who gets calls daily and hates cold calls.”

Where are you using AI in your business now? Where does it work? Where didn't it work?

Insurance products are built to protect, not grow wealth. When you use an insurance product as an investment, they often come with: • High fees • Low returns • Limited flexibility • Complex structures If your goal is growth, invest in markets. If your goal is protection, buy insurance. Be skeptical of mixing the two.

@SteveOnSpeed Getting in shape is tougher. Every day you have habits you need to break which took years to build. You can do the barest minimum financially and come out okay

@hybridathlete I recently bought a Peloton with it being colder out to replace with running cardio this Fall. I can attest to having biked for more than a month, my long runs are WAY easier. Question though - what type of cycling? I’ve been doing 30 min HIIT and feel good

Want to get better at running? Bike more. Seriously, if you’re a hybrid athlete or just new to running, biking is a great way to build endurance with minimal injury risk. It's also a great way to add additional aerobic volume for higher mileage runners without increasing chances of injury. Running is high impact. And most people new to running are not in good enough shape to keep running truly easy. Biking fixes that. Everyone can bike "easy." Biking is particuarly usefull for lifters just getting into running and anyone that is "heavy" (even if lean!). It's much easier to manage intensity and ensure you are getting the correct training effect.

@girdley We need AI to remove all the sponsored ads on google search and LinkedIn feed. I feel like I’m drowning just trying to look something up

Someone should invent an AI to automate the two hours required to sift through all these Airbnb listings, each with 80 photos. "Book this one, bro."

lol Guys… a few things to take away from this 1. AI is wrong is often. Adding an LLC doesn’t change the tax planning you can do 2. People need to be humbled. So many think they know what they’re talking about and will constantly argue with great tax professionals. This guy has doubled down like 10x calling people names,, etc. and he could be more wrong This is why you avoid advice from both AI and people you know They have such strong beliefs somehow about something they don’t even understand

@MattLaciskey Love the use of CD ladders, especially now! The tide seems to always sway back and forth between this strategy. Just recently did a bunch of recommendations for these

Cash management is one of the most overlooked aspects of financial planning You need to be earning a good yield on your cash Otherwise you're losing to inflation We help implement this for all our families: → Money market → CD ladder → T-bills

@olsonplanner Unfortunately the first exposure some/most physicians have are with reps like these in medical school or residency. When I was at NWM, there was a bunch of reps who had their universities steamed out every year. Hurts to see

Everyone can build wealth… But most of you won’t. Not because the system’s rigged but because your habits are. You chase dopamine instead of discipline. You spend like you’re rich and invest like you’re broke. You talk about freedom but can’t delay gratification for 30 days. Wealth isn’t complicated. It’s consistent. And that’s exactly why most people never have it.

@TKopelman What I love about this is that it forces you to live a healthy financial lifestyle based off saving. Doing this long enough will reinforce habits of living within your means. Once you reach retirement, there shouldn’t be such a big shift in your spending habits

If no matter what, you every year: - max out you and your spouses backdoor ROTH IRA - do up to the company match with your 401k (but go for the max) - max out your HSA - add some to your taxable account Your future will be looking bright!

If you’re obsessed with always learning and getting better, there no better role in the world than being a financial advisor (perfect for athletes) You will be incredibly successful and make stupid money If you aren’t driven like that, you’ll be like the 80% of advisors who fail and are out of the industry within 5 years
