No, it is not worshipping any gods. This is purely Islam. Here’s why: Allah alone is worshipped. Muslims pray only to Allah, not to Hajr-e-Aswad or any object. The Black Stone is a symbol. Touching or kissing it during Hajj or Umrah is a Sunnah (practice of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), meant to follow his example, not to worship the stone. Intention matters in Islam. Actions are judged by intention (niyyah). The worship is directed to Allah, and the stone is just a marker in the Kaaba. So, Muslims do not worship the stone or any other object—they worship Allah alone.
