@abortodemerda @JusagiChan Those are my aces (plus a bourbon to get Kita to slingshot) and they've been doing amazing. Haven't had a SS myself but I've beaten quite a few with them

The only time I ever shared a bed with a woman regularly I had to wait until she fell asleep every single night so I could flee to the toilet to take care of the inevitable boner that being close to her gave me

@kret_spec When I read the book I imagined rocky closer to the movie version than to yours, but I totally get the idea behind it. I think if you added stronger legs it might be close to what I imagined, since iirc the gravity on erid is way higher than earth

My take on the Eridian species from Project Hail Mary. The movie design was cute and worked on screen (apparently Rocky was a puppet!), but I would have preferred a more organic looking concept.

FWC is investigating and I have full confidence in their officers. Florida's wildlife and waterways deserve respect, not content farming. Under my watch, anyone who abuses wildlife in Florida will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Looking forward to seeing charges pressed against those who would brazenly disrespect our laws.
MyFWC@MyFWC

The FWC is aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator. FWC officers are looking into the incident and will provide additional information when available. To report wildlife violations, call the Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-3922.

@L3407972118571 @PaulNevere @JayCollinsFL Livestreaming yourself magdumping a alligator isn't really a crime you need a master detective for in order to figure out what happenend.I never said that the police shouldn't handle it, but it's ridiculous to pretend the crime isn't obvious in order to seem morally superior

@ChristianK101 @PaulNevere @JayCollinsFL It “looks” that way. Thank god that’s not how our legal system is supposed to work. We all pay cops to do their damn jobs and to investigate shit before filing charges. They should do their jobs and then go from there. It sets a dangerous precedent if they don’t.

A Danish scientist counted bugs on the same windshield, same road, same conditions, every year for 20 years. By year 20, 80% of the insects were gone. In Germany, a group of volunteer bug scientists did something even bigger. They set traps in 63 nature reserves, not farms, protected land, and weighed everything they caught. Same traps, same method, 27 years straight. The total weight of flying bugs dropped 76%. In midsummer, when insects should be peaking, it was 82% gone. A follow-up in 2020 and 2021 checked again. No recovery. In the UK, they literally ask drivers to count splats on their license plates after a trip. The 2024 count came back 63% lower than just 2021. Three years. A 2020 study pulled together 166 surveys from 1,676 locations around the world. Land insects are disappearing at roughly 9% every ten years. Here’s where it hits your plate. About 75% of the food crops we grow depend on insects to pollinate them, everything from apples to almonds to coffee. One 2025 study modeled what a full pollinator collapse would look like: food prices jump 30%, the global economy takes a $729 billion hit, and the world loses 8% of its Vitamin A supply. Birds are already feeling it. North America has lost 2.9 billion birds since 1970. A study from just weeks ago found half of 261 bird species on the continent are now in serious decline, and the losses are speeding up in farming regions. The birds that eat insects lost 2.9 billion. The birds that don’t eat insects? They gained 26 million. That ratio tells the whole story. One of the German researchers behind the 27-year study drives a Land Rover. He says it has the aerodynamics of a refrigerator. It stays clean now.

@JoshTheMedic I also think that the mix between the grace parts, which are more classic horror and the Leon parts which go to more action work together really well. And of course: Leon is back

My theory is that a lot of it has to do with the fact that we hadn’t had a NEW (non remake) mainline entry that pushes the CENTRAL RE storyline forward since RE6/REV2. RE7 & Village are great but they’re isolated happenings that feel disconnected from the central storyline.

Serious question, why is Resident Evil Requiem doing better than the last three games combined? Just that good? Just wondering what changed
