In my latest #Hawaii history story, I look up old maps, find new clues and interview experts. What do you think happened to Moku Papapa? Do you agree with any of the sources? sfgate.com/hawaii/article…

The Wahiawa dam heights have dropped a little bit from 85.26 feet at its highest at 8:25 a.m. to 84.21 feet as of 11 a.m. HST. You can monitor the heights here, as it is updated: #dataTypeId=continuous-00065-0&period=P7D&showFieldMeasurements=true" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">waterdata.usgs.gov/monitoring-loc…

I spoke to the father about this heartbreaking cold case. The hiker flagged down a helicopter for help, was denied, and then went missing. sfgate.com/hawaii/article…

Nani isn’t abandoning Lilo or giving her up. She’s not leaving Lilo behind, because Tutu is a part of their ohana too. Here are my final thoughts on "Lilo and Stitch" and a deeper dive into what it means to be hanai. sfgate.com/hawaii/article…

I have a mystery I need help with. Help! This is real weird…. - When I was thinking about the Simpsons episode, I decided to cross reference Purgatory with Springfield. 🧵 This is what came up: It’s a whole travel article about the Hell and Purgatory Airport in a place called Springfield. This article describes it in detail, the article never stating if it’s a made up story. And folks, this is a straight up Airport in Purgatory, NOT just in name only. #google_vignette" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">travelasker.com/the-origins-an… The rest of the site is devoted to travel blogging. I can’t see any indication that this story is a fiction, but of course it would obviously seem like it is. However, then when I searched it on Maps, it showed up in North Carolina. And it showed up as an historical point of interest in a couple of spots online, with zero description. But, when I went there on Google Earth, it says ‘no search results’, and I went to coordinates provided from an online search, and it shows up as woods.

Bart is the ringleader of the Springfield Purgatory. The inhabitants are under his influence, kept in a purgatorial state. There is a chance for transcendence, if he will agree to move on, to age, to pass through the lit twin pillars. Everyone else is ready to move forward, to change, grow, improve, as demonstrated by their party attendance, but Bart acts as the Devil (much like Gilligan, as I described in a previous post), and exerts his will, bending ‘reality’ once again, to stay within the Purgatorial Ouroboros of Time. And so it resets again, to conform to his desires, and ultimately, to his fears. And notice he says ‘10’ back to back four times in a row, while standing in front of the two candles. 11:11 Perhaps we are all now standing figuratively and literally in front of our own twin candles, represented by two ultra bright comets heading past our realm, signaling to us that it’s a time to take stock in our lives, and turn to what’s most important….love and family, and looking out for each other.
