@NoFriendOfWorld @AndrewBurch14 @MrCasey62 Exactly, not a wafer, but the body blood soul and divinity of Christ. We can’t take the Eucharist outside a state of grace, and which is easier, believing I was once saved and therefore I need nothing more to continue to be saved or that I have to confess my sins to a priest?

@Christophe26557 @AndrewBurch14 @MrCasey62 Catholic Grok leads many to Hell. Jesus did not teach us to consume a wafer in remembrance of Him. That's silly nonsense that simpleton Catholics love bc it's easy to pop a wafer into the mouth & then go to the bar after mass & watch the game on the big screen. That's the Truth.

I’m tired of unregenerate people trying to tell regenerate Bible readers what God said or didn’t say , how about you shut your yappers and open a Bible. 🙃

@Brandon81Hansen @catholicpat Who are welcomed into the kingdom at the final judgement? Who are sent to everlasting torment? Scripture only please not your manmade church’s false opinions.

@NoFriendOfWorld @AndrewBurch14 @MrCasey62 No new death. It’s the re-presentation (making present) of that once-for-all offering so we participate & receive its fruits. Jesus commanded “Do this in remembrance of Me.” The objection confuses “offered” with “killed again.“

@AndrewBurch14 @MrCasey62 If the mass is THE sacrifice, then Scripture is invalid, namely Hebrews 9:25-28, and 10:10. Meaning, the sacrifice on the cross was not ONCE for all, but millions of times every day/year. It's so nonsensical, yet Satan has duped every R. Catholic alive with this clever deception.

@MrCasey62 I believe they confuse the Word (Logos) with bible. They read “the word was God “ and conflate word here for what they call the bible (word).

“The Word” is the 2nd Person of the Trinity. “…became flesh” is the Incarnation: Jesus. So “The flesh we are to ‘eat’ (consume)” is Jesus. Catholics totally agree. And we got it straight from the Bible.

@ByGraceAL0NE @HumanBeingAlpha @MrCasey62 Telling people they only came to the conclusion they did because they didn’t use their brain is to call them stupid. It is an insult not an argument against their position. Example, if you were a true Christian you would accept the Catholic faith instead of tearing it down.

@ByGraceAL0NE @HumanBeingAlpha @MrCasey62 Casting yourself as a Christian trying to save souls while you mock and criticize is pathetic. No one is fooled. You aren’t even offering a better understanding of the reading, just that if the reading isn’t of your interpretation then it’s because we are stupid.

I think that if Catholics follow the teaching of Catholicism, they will go to hell. I am everyday trying to correct them of their errors and in so doing trying to bring them to the truth of Christ and His gospel of grace in order to save them. If I hated them like you said, why would I wrestle with them to save their souls? Why don't I just leave them be and let them go to hell?

@ByGraceAL0NE @HumanBeingAlpha @MrCasey62 Your take is that if they don’t understand the Bible the way you do they are”useful idiots” and don’t “use their brain” when they read the Bible. Doesn’t seem like I am speaking to a Christian. And if you are the example of one, I don’t think I want to be that.

@ByGraceAL0NE @HumanBeingAlpha @MrCasey62 So you think it’s fine to walk up to someone and call them ugly, fat or stupid and keep walking just because it’s true? You don’t need to convince me, I will not be your judge.

@Northof50290567 @MrCasey62 Which came first? Did Christianity exist prior to the Bible? This is where scroll vs book comes into play. The Old Testament predated Christ on earth but the Bible did not. The OT doesn’t create Christianity, Christianity is the fulfillment of the new covenant Christ made.

@Christophe26557 @MrCasey62 Jesus is the cornerstone, no doubt. The word though is inspired by the Holy Spirit so it is equally proper to say that Jesus, too, also did give us a book. And that book infallibly recorded and preserved his life, ministry, death and resurrection and the central doctrines.

He’s getting desperate. The Old Testament was a collection of scrolls, not a “book” in the modern sense. And claiming “Christianity began with a book” and NOT the eternal Christ is just pathetic.

@Northof50290567 @MrCasey62 I don’t disagree with that being semantics in that case, but that fact changes how people view the Bible. I do agree with the post that Christianity didn’t start with a book. I believe it started with Christ. Without the book, we still have Christianity, without Christ we don’t.

@Christophe26557 @MrCasey62 But yet Paul commended the Bereans for searching the scriptures (OT) to verify what he said and that Jesus was who he said he was. There was scripture. The form of scroll vs book seems, semantic.

@Northof50290567 @MrCasey62 Well, I would argue it matters a bit. Just in the sense that the Jews weren’t a monolithic tribe but a group of tribes. Different sects held to different scrolls because there wasn’t 1 book. So depending on who you talk to you would use certain scrolls to make your point.

@MrCasey62 So let me get this straight. Your argument is to quibble over the meaning of scroll vs book? What exactly did the Bereans “search” after Paul spoke to them? Does it matter whether it was in scroll or book form?

I was saved 10 years ago and could barely stop reading my Bible to even sleep because I was so in love with what I was reading.. the only thing on my mind every waking minute and even in my dreams was JESUS JESUS JESUS! I remember thinking “I have the words of the God of the universe in my hands” I talked to Jesus all day and would cry in awe of what he did for me, PRAISE GOD! Never did I ever think there would be a sect of billions who would shame people for not worshiping humans and not disregarding the word of God in favor of the words of men. Satanic deception is so real and it’s heartbreaking. These are the modern day Pharisees who puff up and shame the true church of Jesus christ because they themselves trust in men, not God.

@BasedLawman @Christophe26557 @skillz17q Thats not the argument , auditors are reading from the open records act arguing once a record is open to the person who was recorded that person has been granted access and now that closed record has become open to the individual on the recording . It’s his interpretation.

@USNVetDad @MrCasey62 @patrickmadrid He in no way equated Calvinism to sola scriptura. And not all Calvinist affirm all 5 points of tulip. So where do you get that all these Protestants denomination affirm the same thing? He simply points out that even the closest Protestants groups don’t agree with each other.

@MrCasey62 @patrickmadrid He strawmans an inept and incorrect argument uses an equivocation fallacy (Calvinism = sola scriptura) Lutherans and Calvinists and Baptists all affirm all 5 points of TULIP they differ on things like baptism mode (so does Rome), style of worship, historical culture (so does Rome
