The SDSU team he's referring to was an auto-bid; nobody is advocating they shouldn't have been in but there's no reason the MWC should be more than a 2 bid league.

North Carolina is absolutely shredding San Diego State right now, going on a 20-2 run behind great defense and 10/15 from the floor (5/5 from 3). It’s been a complete clinic by the Tar Heels in Dayton thus far.

Every major CBB analyst (outside of @JayBilas) and the committee should be ashamed of their thoughts on the ACC this year. It was and always has been the best conference for CBB in the country. Meanwhile you praise the MWC and they get 6 bids for while the 4th team in ACC is OUT.

I love this NC State story. These fans deserve this! But Pack needed a banked in 3 to beat UVa at the ACC tourney, and needed OT to beat No. 14 seed Oakland. They're playing great, and I'd love them to keep winning. It doesn't mean Syracuse, VT, FSU and BC are good teams.

@BJRains Even with the underseeding they were still favorites in 3 of the 5 games. Going 1-4 is just real bad.

Mountain West improves to 3-4 in the Big Dance. First year in MW history three different teams won a game. Both single digit seeds won, while the double-digit seeds (all of which were badly under-seeded) went 1-4.

@ChuckAndrews12 @madeformarch Ok, they had one team in the last billion that got in that went to a final four last year. It also got one of the easiest paths ever…Charleston, Furman, one good team Bama, perennially overrated Creighton, FAU. Then they were not competitive against UConn.

If New Mexico wins its final two regular season games and adds another Quad 1 win by winning at Utah State on Saturday and UNLV wins the Mountain West Tournament, the Mountain West will be a seven-bid league. This is March.
