Wemby’s Revenge!
He was the offending party! He intentionally elbowed another player in the throat & suffered the smallest penalty allowable! These are not the circumstances that allow for “revenge”.

I’m all for no suspension. No history. And to be honest, Wolves gameplan revolves around playing against Wemby.
But no fine is actually kinda insane considering Naz could’ve really been hurt.
Seen people fined for doing way less. No fine is showing what he did was ok.

I’ve seen a number of Spurs folks sincerely type out that what Wemby did was “arguably justifiable” and I feel like I’m getting punked.
Rudy is grabbed, clawed, smacked across the face/head, tripped every single time he hits the court. It’s what teams do to guys with crazy physical advantages and the league has always allowed it (and should continue to). He’s never lost his cool and thrown a deliberate elbow to a player’s throat. And when he has done something dumb, he’s gotten punished.
To say what Wemby did was justifiable is completely insane. That was a vicious, intentional elbow that could’ve seriously injured Naz. If you can’t maintain your cool enough to avoid doing that, you don’t belong on the court.
Now, I don’t want Wemby suspended because I want the Wolves to play the Spurs at full strength…but it’d 100% be a fair decision if they do so. If you watch the replay and pay attention to Wemby’s eyes, it’s clear he knew exactly what he was doing.
