I have a lot of hate in my heart for the way helldivers 2 has been handled over the past 2 years. Part of me is glad so many players are clueless to just how malicious the devs have been. Stop ruining the fun of helldivers 2 in pursuit of your grunt fantasy kink. please

I don't recall saying hive guards are harder to kill. making a chaff unit have heavy armor is akin to releasing war striders with 0 medium pen weakspots in that it makes no sense. they could of kept hive guards with medium armor and reduced it's body hp the same.

This will revert the Hive Guard and fix an issue introduced in Patch 6.2.1 where armor values were incorrectly swapped between the Legs and Claws. Updated Hive Guard stats: Main Body - Armor increased from 1 → 2 - Health increased from 375 → 500 Head - Armor decreased from 4 → 3 Front Legs - Armor increased from 2 → 3 Claws - Armor decreased from 3 → 1 We are reviewing player feedback, including durability damage, so next week we will also address some of these questions and others which our founder has received in various forums. Did Arrowhead forget that mechs aren’t the only thing affected by enemies doing more durable damage? They buffed the durable damage of every enemy in the new patch to compensate for the mech buffs (they are more like fixes than buffs tbh) and now stuff like the bastion tank, FRV and turrets feels like they are made out of cardboards

I’m genuinely emotional right now. Arrowhead actually listened to me and made Hive Guard armor heavy. This is everything I’ve ever wanted. I reported this everyday since launch. Pure gameplay perfection. A historic update. Thank you for making my dream come true.

arrowhead view helldivers 2 as a slapstick comedy where a bunch of incompetent buffoons die every 2 seconds from random acts of carelessness from cheap, ineffective, mass produced equipment, and are constantly up against the wall against far more powerful enemies they had no chance of ever defeating if you dont play the game this way, you're doing it "wrong" and they will go out of their way to make sure you're having the "correct" experience by making your turrets deliberately shoot you, giving eruptor shrapnel player magnetism, making DSS eagle strikes target you, nerfing all the gear they see as "too effective", and deliberately sabotaging major orders so that they dont accidentally portray super earth as even slightly competent to me the game is at its best when youre with a group of friends who all know what they're doing, all pick a role they're good at, and are communicating and coordinating, and we get through a really difficult mission with little to no casualties because each and every one of us has been through the zero to hero arc and know that we could fuck it up at any time by being careless myself and many others are frustrated because this game is so close to being a 10/10, but their incessant need for us to play the game "their way" and refusal to fix very easily fixable problems holds them back and it just feels like its being done out of spite at this point
