Professor Pius Nwankwo (P.N.) Okeke, is a widely celebrated academic professor and well known scholar whose physics textbook was/is an incredibly popular reading for science students across Nigeria. This man has NO national honor in Nigeria. But the Nigerian government gives national honours to criminals, thieves, rogues, mass murderers, bigots, religious extremists and sycophants working for lunatic politicians who wreck the country.

I once dated an Anambra man when I was in school. The relationship was loving and fantastic, until one day, he asked me to cook nsala soup (white soup). I told him boldly that I don’t know how to cook it, and it wasn’t my native dish. He looked at me and said, “If you really love me, you’ll learn.” At first, I was shocked, but I decided to try. I spent hours asking my mum and watching videos, and eventually, I cooked the soup. He was impressed, and it actually brought us closer. Though we didn’t end up together because his mum was against the relationship, but i walked away with a new skill, a story to tell, and a reminder that growth often comes from unexpected challenges. Life sometimes teaches you lessons in the most surprising ways and that’s what truly matters.

@Emmanue70222673 @winexviv She was my HOD and lecturer. Prof. P. N. Was my lecturer, Project supervisor, mentor and senior researcher in our astrophysics research group. We're still in touch after more than 2 decades. He is still approachable.

@winexviv I was very fortunate to meet Profs PN & FN Okeke during my undergraduate days in UNN. They were very accessible then. I do not know for now.

Today is a very special day for me. My Mummy has now officially gotten her PhD from Mechanical Engineering, UNN. Her research topic is Energy Economics of Solar Photovoltaic Power Deployment in Nigeria. She is the first woman to get a PhD in Mechanical Engineering UNN. She is also the first female engineer in UNN 41 years ago. This PhD journey was also the longest ever. It took her 13 years of persistence to achieve this. Her research topics were changed 3 times in the process. I offered her to do it in MIT, Stanford etc especially when the frustrations were much but she declined and insisted on UNN. God saw her through 🙏 This is one of the best days in my life!
