@Chumbucket34 @SoonerNScout @Dirtdog Oh, assuming it was insured and the insurance lapsed. Without insurance you can’t register the car, can’t get tags/plates, in which case you’re asking to be pulled over? Idk if they’d impound the car in that case. Assuming again that the laws are enforced.

I just left traffic court with one of teenagers. She was going 35 in a 30 mph zone and wanted it off her record. Of the 11 cases before us 10 of them were people driving without insurance. I was shocked. Do people just not get insurance anymore?

@SoonerNScout @Dirtdog If the car isn’t insured, the insurance company notifies the state and the car’s registration is suspended. Fees to fix it, can be hard ($) to get insurance again. Just makes a headache and expense.
