Just upgraded from angular 12 to 21, all tests passed and builds on first try. Daym! Angular is still a good framework!

@ChunkyApps He mentioned it on his recent livestream last night. Said issue 1 would have 1-2, then 2 would have 3-4, & the final issue would have 5-7. He also said he's going to TRY to get it printed on newsprint.

@DonalTDeLay My daughter has been watching it. She asked to read the books. She’s already on vol 4 of the collected oversized volumes. She likes the show pacing better but overall the books.

@ChunkyApps I would love to watch it but I just can’t get past the terrible animation. The show could be so GOATED, too.

I’ve posted & deleted 3 tweets complaining about the animation quality of Invincible. Why am I complaining when I don’t watch it? (I would watch it if the animation was better, though)

Curious what @MarvelComicsHQ’s thought process is for what gets an oversized hardcover. Still wild that Daniel Warren Johnson’s Beta Ray Bill (Eisner nominated btw) has no hardcover, yet Death of the Silver Surfer skips TPB and goes straight to hardcover?!?

@lanterncast But Absolute editions (DC), library editions (dark horse), oversized hardcovers (image) are larger and the best format for art. The artist’s editions are huge but don’t include color only inks. So it depends what you are looking for. But not all comics get those formats.

@lanterncast Omnibuses are basically the same height and width of deluxe editions. You may be thinking of compendiums which have the same dimensions of original comics.

Floppies - Active readers, variant collectors, key collectors, people creating "on time" review content, etc. Trades - Readers who are ok not being as current as possible, readers who like to read really anywhere, etc. Omnibuses - Full run collectors, collectors who like a nice consistent look on the shelves, people impressed that a specific run is finally getting collected for the first time ever (like me with the GL/GA omnibus), people who have a designated reading spot already in mind, etc. So the answer is, "They're all valid, for different reasons to different people."
